We attended the Derby Party to celebrate my mother’s bday and had a great time!! It was very busy for the Kentucky Derby, they had tents outside w good music playing, the service and food was great, everyone was having a lot of fun! The staff at Ponies and Pints put on a great event for all to enjoy! Thanks for making my mother’s bday a special day!!!

Went to the soft opening. Really nice concept. Horse races and lots of beer on tap. Food is really great as well. Large portion sizes.
The food is awesome! Incredible staff, and a large variety of craft beer makes this an ideal place for a friend's night out. And you can bet on horse races and win some money! How often might you actually go home richer than you went out?!
Billy was a wonderful bartender! Incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the beer list is great; cold and local. I had asked for honey mustard with my fries and was charged $.50 for it, which I didn’t know would happen, and it’s not a huge deal at all, but be aware that they charge for condements besides ketchup! Other than that, cool, lively place with ponies all around.
Awesome bar! Bartender was super friendly. Will definitely be going back to try out the food. Saw several delivery orders do out while we wew sitting there. They also put the world series game on the big screen with sound.
It was very professional well mannered and very nice and respectful the customer service is very nice and polite. I will recommend others to go there the food and the customers was very respectful and kind to others it's A environment that's clean and mature everyone there was like one big family if I didn't know know better I would've thought everyone there was one big family💯. I could go on and on about this place real talk!!! The Owner be there inter acting with the customer's waiting on customer's like his employer's you don't see that at all at any orher establishments where the owner working like everyone else he's A real nice guy and treat everyone the same know matter gender or race.
don't overlook this place just because you're not into betting (i'm not). they have really good food and a wide variety of beer taps (idk of anywhere around with more beer taps than here). prices are quite inexpensive for both the food/beer. barstaff is excellent/friendly. only complaint is that the single unisex bathroom is gross (one toilet in a small closet that reeks of urine like a bad rest stop)
Great spot to hang out, have a beer, sports bar, and watch the horses. This IS the place "to watch the Kentucky Derby" in Richmond, VA. Seriously, chill spot with great drinks. Excellent food. Try the Kentucky Brown - it's crazy good. Also, pork grinds and the tater tots are worth the trip. The first real "sports bar" in Shockoe Bottom.
Me and my boyfriend aren't gamblers, but this place has delicious food! We've loved just about everything we've ever gotten here. Additionally, the managers are very nice, and they have great customer service.
Very lively crowd and surprisingly good food. Burgers are great. Wide variety of drinks. Betting and great atmosphere, an enjoyable combination. Really enjoyed my first visit. Plan to go again.
Billy, you have amazing customer service skills. You genuinely care about the customer's needs; it's the kind of service I'd expect at different establishments in the area - you are a solid bartender/server. You're professionalism and humor is what will draw customers into wherever you work.
