I have eaten Caribbean food before but none like this. Its the best. The restaurant beautiful. The food is delicious and the staff is awesome. If your in Henrico I recommend you stop by. Kudos to you and much success!
Had a fantastic meal and the customer service was excellent. They had a bunch of options for me as a vegan and my mother as a carnivore all really focused on the Caribbean flare. The staff were all positive upbeat they really treated you like you were an immediate part of their friends and family. This is the kind of place that you really want to go because you will enjoy it good food good service everything good we will be a many repeat customer. Can't wait to go back with my vegetarian daughter. And when you go I highly highly recommend the guava punch.
This place exceeded my expectations! Everything tasted so fresh! I ordered Ox Tails with coconut rice, cabbage, and plantain. If you want delicious Caribbean food, visit Charles Kitchen. Run don't walk!
So delicious! We came in after the typical lunch time (around 2 pm) so it wasn't crowded at all, but based on the taste, it should be busy all the time!
I got the curry chicken bowl with coconut rice + cabbage/carrots. It was all so delicious! We also split a beef pastry thing... Can't remember the name, and it was amazing as well. The meat was all tender and seasoned to perfection. The cabbage and carrots were the perfect crisp addition for the meat and rice. I managed to finish everything and I will try to make my way back in the future.

Incredible place in Richmond, delicious delicious meal with so many meat and side options! The sorrel drink was delicious as well, highly highly recommend to anyone who loves good food! Incredibly friendly too, willing to answer any questions and give any food suggestions!

Never even knew this was here, and we live across the street! We came on a whim, and will be back weekly. The oxtail, curry chicken, curry shrimp, rice, plantains, literally everything was amazing! So glad we popped in! Great to meet you Charles!
My husband took me here and the food was wonderful. Absolutely a hidden gem. The food was fresh. I ordered the curry shrimp and my husband had the salmon and a king fish to go. It was my birthday and they made my experience memorable. I thank you all for a wonderful night ❤️

This is for the food truck. Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious! And so much lighter and balanced than a lot of heavy Caribbean food. (And I'm Carribean!) Can't wait to visit the restaurant!
Compliments to the chef! My food was great. I had to try his oxtails and rice. Which he didn't disappoint. It taste very authentic. The restaurant was clean and even though they didnt have central air. They still found a way to keep me cool. You have to stop by and try their lunch specials. With the prices and options, it's worth the trip.
I think my soul has just left my body! Oh my heavens, this food is sooooo goooood! One meal, now I’m an addict. The curry chicken is to die for; coconut rice is perfection; cabbage and carrot slaw will leave you wishing you’d ordered a large portion, and the mango slaw is the most unique blend of flavors I’ve ever experienced with mango. Drop what you’re doing and go order this food!
