I rated Catalan Mediterranean Restaurant a well-deserved: Excellent-5 Star. Its menu options are varied and described in an intriguing way. The combination of ingredients is at times surprising and does not disappoint. From its fresh fruit pitcher of sangria to its tapas, and wonderful entrees. There are other reason why we returned.
We've only been here twice. We returned for the well-prepared food, the enchanting courtyard patio and George George Christian Spanopoulos (look him up on YouTube). He is a gifted musician. He plays his guitar with passion, and adds flavor and an unequaled flair of the exotic to the experience. Do yourself and friends a favor, book a nice courtyard table in advance because this is a happening place. Plus complimentary valet parking. We will be back.
We stopped in to experience a taste of summer for Rancho Mirage. From the moment that we stepped in the door the staff were so warm, friendly & welcoming. The ambiance is so very nice. This will be our new watering hole which means (in case you don't know) that we will be here again & again & again! The food was delicious, the bartender was FAB & the watermelon margarita was delicious!! Love the Taste of Summer because if it wasn't for them we would have not ventured into this lovely place for a long time "if ever".
Just a nice place to go. Friendly, attentive.

Be adventurous and order something new or special. Both these dishes, bone marrow and charred octopus were fantastic.
Came across this restaurant recently over Yelp and made the decision to come here for dinner. Definitely not disappointed in the choice either! Food was exceptional and perfectly cooked. Will be eating here again.
This is a hidden treasure. The food was spectacular and the service was impeccable. Everything was so fresh and delicious, I would highly the charred octopus, it was so tender and perfectly cooked. The paella was loaded with seafood as opposed to many others that are primarily rice with little seafood spattered in. I hope to visit this place again when I return to PS.
Was visiting Palm Springs and did not know that the city shuts down at 8 p.m. Although they were closing, we were sat and served by a friendly staff. Food was great, atmosphere was awesome, and the staff were incredible. Thanks for being a great ambassador for your city and for making my last night in California a memorable one.
Good food. Not really Spanish as the name would suggest, but more pan-Mediterranean. Went for dinner with friends. The place was very busy, but the noise level was still low enough for relaxed conversation. Had the octopus appetizer, which was good, but not the best I've had here in the Valley. The lamb chops were spectacular. Perfectly cooked and juicy and delicious. The black spaghetti with rock shrimp had a wonderful sauce, but the pasta was slightly over cooked. I had a very delicious rice pudding for dessert. The Spanish Albarino wine was a perfect accompaniment to the meal. My only real complaint was the valet parking. I felt it was totally unnecessary. After dinner, I waited almost 10 minutes for the single valet to retrieve my car, which was in plain sight. He also moved my seat so far back that I could not even reach the pedals! Was this necessary to move my car 50 feet? Prices are not cheap, but in line for Rancho Mirage.
First time here, and it was such a great experience! The food was unbelievably good. The waiter was so personable and prompt. It is a different atmosphere that made it a refreshing experience. Would highly recommend.
Take wifey for some drinks and ended having dinner, amazing restaurant.

Food was great! I had the paella mixta and it was delicious. They did not skimp on the seafood and the seasoning was perfect. I highly recommend the sangria, the only thing I would change would be a wider variety of fruit but it was still refreshing!
Oh what a night! Went here for a birthday party and everything was absolutely fabulous! The staff were all top notch and the food was all so delicious! There were so many options to choose from, but I went with the paella as that is the house specialty. It was filled with so much flavor and lots of seafood, chicken and sausage. Every bite was packed with so much flavor. All of the other entrees looked delicious too. We will definitely have to come back so we can sample some of the other options on the menu.
