Love this place. They do have really good frozen custard. I'm never disappointed. My daughters worked there while in high school and their summer between their freshman and sophomore years in college. (I have twins.) They really liked working there. So, they don't only have really good frozen custard. The place is sentimental for my family.
Goodberrys has been a Raleigh tradition for more years than I care to admit too....the frozen concoction is creamy and flavorful . Can't say which flavor is my favorite as I love them all.
We had a combination of dine in and take out. There isn't any inside dining. We utilized their outdoor seating.
Not much to say. I love Goodberrys and they never got my order wrong haha. Only 4 stars because the line I always so long and the wait can be a bit much at times. Not their fault though. Maybe they need more staff?? I’m not sure. But it’s a very popular place no matter the weather.
Love goodberrys haven't been to a bad location ever. Reason they get 4 stars and not 5 is the prices have gone up over the years and the lines can be ridiculously long (not their fault) but sometimes they do not have a sense of urgency to get the lines down. Outside of the they got the best soft ice cream in the triangle.
Best, ice cream in Raleigh. They could have a better system for taking orders and getting them out though. Only one window was working and it was a Saturday night... Stood in line quite a while.
Today(6/11/23), I went here with my family for some ice cream. We just moved to Raleigh so we were looking for places to get ice cream since our usual place (Amy’s ice cream) is only a Texas/austin thing. I tried the lemon flavor and it was absolutely delicious. Although my dad who doesn’t eat dairy couldn’t get anything since they don’t have dairy free stuff. Overall very good.
The novelty of having a flavor of the day means we’re always checking the calendar to see when a new flavor we haven’t yet had is out.
Custard is delicious but waistline can’t sustain daily visits, but you can always get chocolate and vanilla at any time.
When key lime or pistachio is the FOD we can’t get there fast enough.
I haven't been here in years but it was delicious even though they forgot one of my toppings
Goodberry’s has some of the creamiest custard in town. My wife got chocolate with cookie dough and I got the Heath bar sundae. Both very large portion sizes with a huge amount of toppings. Employees were very quick and friendly. Only wish they had a drive thru.
Favorite place for dessert. Don't judge me. Vanilla custard, pistachios, oreo cookies, chocolate syrup or pistachio syrup. Absolutely delicious....visit way too often
