Authentic Philly cheese steaks, delicious breakfast sandwich and great price for amazing food. The owner delivered superb service and treated us as guests in his home. The photo below is of the Pizza Steak sub which was fantastic. The food was so good I had to order a second sub!

Unbeknownst to me, I walked in right as they were closing- I didn't want to be rude and was about leave but the owner insisted that I stay and he personally made my girlfriend and I amazing cheese steaks. I've been searching for a good, authentic Philly cheese steak in Maine for a long time and have finally found one! Even in Philly this cheese steak would be considered top notch. Friendly atmosphere, A+ service and A+ Food.
One of the great new lunch spots in town! I will admit, at first I was skeptical of the "cheese whiz" but wow, I've gone 2 days in a row and will definitely continue to frequent the shop. The owners are very personable and knowledgeable. I read a few reviews about portions, not sure what the heck they received because I was extremely full and I can eat a lot of food. Was busy both times I was there, seems like they are doing very well.
I have had Cubans in Miami Italian beef's in Chicago tenderloin in Iowa pulled pork in Georgia. So I know a good sandwich. Every time I go to Portland I make a trip to this place. Got to hand it to this place top notch cheese steak.
Cheesesteaks are legit AF. The other menu items are spectacular too but you can't get much better then a Classic Philly. Go enjoy this fresh, hot, delicious, steak-filled sandwich from 5 Spot. I eat three every day to keep me strong. #WhizWit
