Delicious sushi, perfectly portioned, delicious even without soy sauce. Fish was very fresh, no fishy smell. Tamago was smaller than expected, half had rice and seaweed the other half was just the sweet yummy egg.

Yoshi's is by far my favorite spot to get sushi in SW Portland. The ingredients are always fresh and the rolls innovative. My only gripe is that the menu is small but I couldn't bring myself to reduce a star for that, because what you can find on the menu is delicious and always satisfies!
Yoshi is hands down the best sushi in southwest portland. You cannot beat his fresh fish and fresh prices! I’d recommend it to anyone no matter where you’re coming from in portland. The salmon nigiri is a must try. He’s the best!
This place makes the ultimate case for food cart sushi. The final nail in the coffin for the argument of "is food cart sushi the best sushi you can buy?". It is and you should try it.
I didn't get much interaction with the cart staff but they got my food done pretty quick. I highly suggest the lime green roll. I went with the way they presented I on the menu, which is vegan. Whether you get the salmon(+extra $) or just the plain roll, it was plenty delicious. Also went with the special of the day which was the Hamachi yellowtail nigiri. Usually when I find food cart sushi they tend to over season the vinegar rice, but Yoshi sushi does an awesome rice. Will be back to try more dishes if I am in the area.
japanese food and the scene here is better than most. Got there near five, it wasn't very busy. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. The bill was decent.
The BEST sushi in Portland! The textures and flavors taste just like the sushi I had while visiting Japan. Yoshi and his staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure you’re satisfied with your meal. Make sure to try their scallops!
The sashimi is so fresh and tasty. Very generous serving of each nigiri. I was so impressed by the scallop nigiri, which is flavored with a little orange sauce on top. That brought the nigiri to a whole different level. The chef and his crew were so passionate and greeted us with smile. Definitely worth a perfect 5 star. ‘Shokunin’ in Portland area.
