Location:
It’s on a main thorough-way. So= Noise and wind outside. It’s situated facing East/west so that it’ll get chilly quickly and the sun doesn’t face it for too long.
Size:
It’s tiny. The building is so precious and definitely at least 100 yrs old. Very little parking,very limited seating, one marvelous “take me to another era” bathroom. Have reservations!
This is one of those gems you have to try and I hope we never lose!
GF & vegetarian options are Fenomenal, breakfast & brunch are outstanding. I had the Luisiana Hash & my love had the dumplings.
Service wow, they checked all the boxes, flavors, friendly, great atmosphere. Definitely worth it.
Absolutely amazing food! Stopped in because it was super close to my AirBnB and I was not disappointed. I’m definitely going back everyday til I leave so I can try more of the menu 🤤

it was the best sandwich in my life. the flavor was unique and on point! drip coffee was good too. Also friendly service. will visit here again when I come to portland.
great hidden gem, reminded me of old portland. everything on the menu was tempting, the green giant avocado toast was great, and the salad actually convinced me i like balsamic vinegar again! it’s rare i clean my plate. as for drinks, classic bloody mary was smoky and delicious, and the dark moon was an awesomely strong coffee drink with rum and coke. this is officially going to be our weekday date spot.
I kinda don’t want to tell anyone about this place because I feel like we found an absolute GEM. The food was outstanding and for such a reasonable price, the service was great- Pete and Harvey(?) were phenomenal, and our drinks were so tasty. Can’t wait to come back for brunch, I hear that’s just as good too!
A true 5/5 location. Food was amazing. I got the Mexican lager. One of the best beers I’ve ever had. Place was clean. Small hole in the wall experience with amazing service. This is a “must visit” location.
