The pot of gold is the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had and the roast beef bagel sandwich made me feel borderline euphoric! It’s like going over to your super cool aunts house for some home cooked food and coffee!
I pulled into this place because of the giant sparkle pink mug. The Longbottom coffee here is served to perfection, I love the white mocha powder from Ghiradelli...it put my black & white mocha over the top. Great staff, it has a real community feel. Found my new coffee shop!!
Cozy lil spot with a great atmosphere and amazing treats!! Come for coffee, grab some wonderful breakfast and a yummy treat too!
The folks here are absolute sweethearts. Super kind and attentive. Service was great, and the baked goods were excellent. Talk about good scones! Most of them made from scratch as well.
The atmosphere is nice and cozy, and the outdoor seating area is lots of fun.
Candidly, the food itself didn’t really knock our socks off, but it was plenty decent, and we’ll certainly come back again in the future.
Very friendly proprietor, coffee is strong and piping hot, handmade baked goods among the best I've ever had. Cranberry orange scones studded with fruit, and if you get the chance, definitely eat the apple fritter bread!
Simply wonderful! Met friends for an early breakfast. They serve our favorite Blind Coffee Roasters coffee which is smooth and delicious. French toast, eggs and bacon were tasty! Biscuits and gravy were great and the portion was huge. We ate outside in the delightful garden space. Took home a lemon glazed mixed berry scone for later. Looking forward to coming again.
Delightful experience with an incredible treat! I’ve never heard of a butterfinger pound cake before, but so glad to have had the experience of eating such a delicious creation! Well done
Jenni’s Sacred Grounds is a great place! Good coffee, good food and good pastries! She let me try a new pound cake she made and it’s amazing!
Pros:
1. The Lady was very sweet. Approachable and Business appropriate.
2. The Coffee was strong and delicious
3. The place/decor was cute
4. The bakery items look homemade, and not store bought.
5. The price was reasonable! 😉
6. (BEST!) She has milk alternatives including “Oat Milk!!!” Starbucks doesn’t have that! 😱🥳
Will come again.
I’ve driven by this cute lil spot multiple times and finally decided to pop in, which I’m so glad I did. Not only was my latte delicious, but the shop itself is absolutely adorable and so cozy. It’s clean, has plenty of seating and there’s even a cute little outdoor patio which I’ll definitely be back to enjoy in the summer. Jenni, the owner, is one of the sweetest ladies I’ve met. Our conversation was short, but I could tell that she truly cares about the community and she displays it all through out her shop with promoting local businesses in the area. She mentioned to me that she’s not here to make a lot of money, she’s here to build community. We definitely need more Jenni’s in the world.
The breakfast burrito was a decent two people meal, but overall very glad to find this place! Service was good and food was great.
Edit: I finally tried the coffee. It is PHENOMENAL, probably legitimately the best coffee in Portland. If you care about coffees flavor and miss the way it was 15 years ago, try the coffee here. I only know of one other coffee shop anywhere near as good in Portland, and it's way on the west side of the city.
A pleasant Cafe which is open very early which is very convenient. The Buscuits and gravy are delicious. The gravy she makes is very excellent and loaded with sausage. The sausage links they provide are also high quality and tasty. The eggs are made to order well.
