Food was fantastic. Service was a little slow at the beginning but picked up as we went along. The drinks were great. And the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Worth a visit!
I had a mixed experience at Boxwood Cafe. The food was delicious and the service was attentive, but I felt the prices were a bit high. What I ordered was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. The server was very friendly and helpful, and she made sure that our drinks were always full. However, I felt that the prices were a bit steep. Overall, I had a good experience, but I would have liked the prices to be a bit lower.
A little pricey, my chicken was fairly tough, but tasted good, potatoes were delicious and cooked just right, green beans were fresh not canned, as were the mushrooms. Portion was good, although I could have eaten more 😁 👍
Had our complementary breakfast here. Eggs bennedict were perfeclty cooked. They were understaffed so the service is a bit slow. The hotel manager even helps with all the service.
I had the top sirloin , rare AF and was not let down. Excellent dinner and service. My friend ordered the shrimp pasta. We both cleaned our plates and were very satisfied. With gratuity I spent $100 for 2 dinners 1 drink. Picture doesn't do it justice because it was plated beautifully prior to destroying it. I don't normally care about grabbing photos of my food but it was so delicious I thought I would this time. The worst part was the loud drunk yppo that were friendly enough until the shots rounds were flowing. Next time I'm asking to be seated farther from that action, if I'm not at the bar being the Obnoxious Drunk.

This is a restaurant in the Crown Plaza Hotel Portland Oregon Convention Center area. I was surprised that it is as good as it is. The French Toast is really good but I do not think the syrup is %100 real syrup. Their Fish and Chips are excellent.
Great food , desserts & drinks , nice helpful staff , reasonable prices . It is not an enormous menu, but I wouldn't call it "limited" , it has a decent variety for hotel restaurant (located inside Crowne Plaza hotel) paid parking lot, or parking meters at street
It was busy when I went yesterday morning but I was greeted with a warm welcome by my hostess and my server. Set at a quiet corner table with a great view of the restaurant. Ordered biscuits and gravies with eggs with coffee and couldn't finish it. Breakfasts were not the cheapest but it was a very positive experience.
Shrimp tacos were to die for - loved the lime sauce. Nice atmosphere as well while staying at the hotel.
Delicious BBQ bacon burger, and the Caesar salad was a wonderful side. It was a nice place for a quiet dinner.
