Grand Central Bowl & Arcade is a fun spot for an evening out. Their food is pretty good, you can get an unlimited gaming card for $20, and they have like 10 bowling lanes. My work has held its holiday party here three years in a row now. We rented out the entire upstairs gaming area, which has its own bar and plenty of seating, along with multiple TVs. The downstairs has a big oval bar with seating all around and booths all around too. They have free garage parking below the restaurant, but it is very small. If you're bored on a rainy day/night go check this place out for some fun!
Swanky Bowling Alley downstairs Fun Arcade upstairs. Both have full bar, restaurant with eating areas. Fun music, definitely family friendly.

I had a great time bowling here! The bowling experience was top-notch and the arcade games added an extra layer of fun. The staff was friendly and helpful making the visit even more enjoyable. I also love the giant screens above the lanes that play ESPN and music videos. Overall, a great place to unwind and have a blast with family and friends!
The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. One thing that surprised me was the fact that most places in Portland you have to make a reservation. YES it gets busy and it’s for ALL AGES. I’m glad that it has its spun parking garage too. TBH one of the best parts is its location, plenty of breweries and places to nibble.
Food is pretty darn good! Mango habanero sauce was fantastic! (The blue cheese was not good but the ranch dressing was stunning!) Super tasty sandwich! Service was very good, bartender and chef were great! Bowling wait time is a little bit long. Went for football because of their nfl package and found out they don’t have it, just cbs and fox.
It was decent, is a nice place. We only play one bowling game we wanted to stay longer but we couldn’t enjoy the arcade games due to a private event. And there was no pool table either.
They have GLUTEN FREE GOODNESS HERE!!! Our wings were amazing, nachos were top notch, and our drinks were so good! They make their own sour mix and much more so drinks are a major score! Sorry I forgot to take pics of the food, however it was great. Bowling was so fun, spacious lanes and the arcade had Pac-Man 4 player and My Personal Favo: METALLICA PIN BALL ⚡️
Grand Central is a downtown Portland institution. Downstairs features comfortable couches with dark leather like material, full bar with plenty of high tables and stools to sit and enjoy both beer and cocktails.
Upstairs is another smaller bar and a small but decent arcade including an air hockey table. The seating is both high set tables with stools and long tables perfect for large gatherings. One other cool feature is the upstairs fireplace. Grand Central's atmosphere of fun: arcade, bowling, drinks, food, fireplaces is the perfect blend for kids and adults.
Parking isn't terrible with a downstairs garage and there is usually street parking is available in the inner SE neighborhood. Morrison street can be busy until later at night, so watch little ones getting out of the car.
It's best to reserve a table, walk-ins are very much hit and miss. So plan ahead.
Ok, so this place is so chill, dim lights, good music, good drinks, alright food, good service, and a good atmosphere... except for the fact the we kept getting the side eye from staff for playing left handed gutter ball so badly although we're both right handed bowlers. just to strengthen our handicap as professional bowlers in all... We will definitely be back soon to bowl.. And maybe next time we will check out the arcade upstairs..
Great place to gather with friends for bowling, food and drink. Still getting used to timed bowling, but we all had fun. Good music, good customer service and good server service.
