Really nice place to hang out and have some good beers. Would recommend folks to go with the sampler tasting tray where you can try 6 beers in each order. We ended up trying almost every beer on the menu by doing so.
Fast & efficient service.
Would definitely recommend visiting this place if you’re in Portland.
The place was packed but I really enjoyed my experience here. They just rolled out a new menu, but everything we tried was delicious. The fried chicken sandwich reminded me of a super upscale version of a McChicken(in the best possible way haha).
The beer was well crafted and tasty. Loved the variety. Staff were swamped but absolutely lovely people and did gave great service despite being slammed while we were there. Great spot to check out.
We came in for drinks and shareable food. Mac with added sausage and bacon is so good. We also got the waffle fries with added egg and bacon.
Had a great time. I split El Jefe and the blackened chicken sandwich with my dad, and el jefe was nothing special, but the blacken chicken sandwich was scrumptious, the flavor of the chicken perfectly compliments the guacamole leaving your taste buds wanting more. Though, my brother ordered the wings and they messed up his order, however the waiter apologized and said he would get a new one for us and we could have the one he brought but we ended up waiting 20 extra minutes without food because they forgot about the replacement. But it indeed out fine in the end because they made it right by taking off the chicken from our bill and giving us some free drink refills. If your in the area it’s a nice place for beer and pretty good food. (Of course parking is a nightmare but your in downtown Portland so what do you expect)
I’ve never had a bad IPA in the year I’ve been coming here. Beer rotates frequently so it’s like there’s almost always something new to try. The bar seating is nice and the bartenders are even nicer. My cat enjoys the outdoor seating for dog & people watching.
Beers were ok, but i wish there were more NOT IPA options.
Fries were...very plain. Not salty enough. Not a fan.
Pretzel is very good!
Cool brewery and good beer! Of course we did a flight and enjoyed all the beers we tried here. It was a cool hip place to hangout and enjoy a good couple of beers with family & friends. It is kid friendly as well so you can bring your little ones.
For food we tried the drumsticks with their IPA Buffalo sauce which was really good. Also the Nachos come in a big portion size which is sharable.
They also have a good kids menu and we ordered the Mac & cheese.
Overall great experience and even bought some of their beer to go.
Clean, well made beers accompanied by clean, tasty food served by friendly people in a clean & chic brew pub tasting space. I think they accomplished what they set out to do very well--highly recommended.
If I had to nitpick the salad was over-dressed with the vinaigrette. Next time I'll just order it on the side.
2 thumbs up!
Amazing food and a great setup. There’s plenty of seating, and the upstairs is reserved for 21+. The food is all amazing-their giant pretzel is a must! The beer is also great, we tried many and liked almost all. For a great vegetarian option, their quinoa bowl is delicious and changes seasonally. 10/10 would recommend!
coming from a long time regular, and this is my girlfriends google because my last review was great and i didn’t wanna change it. beer amazing as per usual. bud from a chef. menus slacks creativity. new items taste cheap. and feel like stereotypical bar food. wings and mac were a staple to this location. if you need to raise the price that’s OKAY!! food is worth the price!! hope things get fixed aside from that great brewery!
