Neat spot with authentic Mexican food. Had their breakfast burrito. Good flavor and portion size, just a bit too greasy (from the chorizo). The habanero salsa is great! The medium green salsa is good but heavy on the citrus they add. Good service. Also has a nice outdoor seating area that’s covered. The parking lot is small.
I love this place and I now specifically have it bookmarked for future visits to Portland. There is food displayed for customers to visually enjoy and get an idea of what is available. Omg, the smell alone is enough to get one salivating. I was so excited seeing that they served grilled and salted jalapeños. I ordered the tamales combo and enjoyed each bite. The chips and Guacamole is an essential to have with your meal. The horchata is a bit watered down but it is refreshing to have on the side with a hot meal. There is covered seating with a mural along the wall that is a great way to pass time as you chew. Such friendly service and I felt right at home there. Great recommendation 👍
I am happy to see a new taco truck open near me. There are a couple of vegan taco options: cactus or a corn mix. I prefer the corn mix. They also have a cute outdoor area to sit!
Outdoor counter service with a variety of hot, authentic Mexican options. We ordered several dishes to go. Quick and friendly service. Even though we didn't eat until nearly an hour after getting it home, everything was still absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back!
The burritos are huge. The tortilla was cooked. The carne asada was excellent! I will be back! Highly recommended!
So glad to have Salsas Locas in the Reed/Creston-Kenilworth neighborhood! They have a ton of options to choose from, whether you want something “small” like a taco or a meal for the whole family. The jalapeño salsa is my favorite, and so far I’ve tried a couple different tacos, tamales, and a taco bowl. All have been great! Take it to go or eat on their heated, covered outdoor patio.
Good Mexican food. Today was Christmas Eve so not the full menu but what they did have was really good. The place isn’t much to look at but we went there for the food.
Best Mexican food in Portland, hands down. My fav is the taco plate and the chile relleno. It’s a smaller place, with covered outdoor seating.

An absolute gem! My coworkers and I eat here multiple times per week and not a one of us has ever been disappointed. I particularly love their birria, which is great in a burrito or quesadilla, but you truly can't go wrong. And I recommend requesting a dollop of enchilada sauce on just about anything you order. :)
This place is amazing! I grew up near the boarder and this place makes me feel like I'm in my hometown again ❤️ The tamales are delicious! There are many vegetarian choices too. Very impressive chip & salsa bar.
