I haven't had Captain D's in a very long time. So I drove to Plano and let me tell you the food was great the cashier was awesome. I purchased the seafood sampler with a order of grilled shrimp. The sampler comes with shrimps, chicken, fish, and two sides of your choice. The price is $9.99 plus tax. Everything was hot and fresh.
At first I thought I didn't like this place as I wasn't much of a fan of the fried fish. But on my next trip got the blackened white fish with lemon pepper shrimp and it was one of the best things I've ever gotten in a fast food place. May be the best. I was shocked how good it was.

Food tasted great!! Hot well-seasoned white fish, 🔥 green beans well- seasoned. Broccoli steamed. Bread stick was fresh. I truly enjoyed my experience. I ordered to go and my food was still hot when I got home. 15 mins. away.
My husband and I love this place, I always get the Lemon Pepper white fish with steamed broccoli and the green beans. It may take 5 to 10 minutes (depending on how busy it is),for our meals to come out but totally worth it. The quality of food is great for the price, it really can’t be beat to me. The staff is always respectful to us and happy to serve. The bathrooms are always cleaned and ready for the next person to use it. The building itself is in great standing and doesn’t look overran or not kept up with. I love that they always play classic oldies music here that any aged person can listen to. Keep up the good work here you all. 👍🏻💯
I was a little skeptical about ordering grilled fish from a fast food place. When I received my order, the presentation was fantastic. The tilapia and rice were cooked perfectly, the green beans were seasoned nicely, and the broccoli and bread roll were very fresh!
