Excellent Chinese food. Different from the run off the mill places that serve up sugar, spice and corn starch when it comes to Chinese food. Ask Jack the owner for recommendations and he will always help with a smile. Great place.
Excellent food and service. Came here for lunch. Only negative was no cashews on cashew chicken. Didn't stop me from eating it though. Highly recommend. Will definately be my first choice when on this side of town.
Mr. Woks - The Best Chinese Food Since NYC. What a little gem of a restaurant! Weekend Nights are busy... and there is a reason. I have introduced 8 couples to Mr. Woks over the last 2 years. All love it and have now made it one of their regular spots. If you order Peking Duck (Yummy, Not Fatty, Served tableside) or Beggars Chicken (Lots of Allspice!) you can reserve a table. There was a 90 minute wait last Saturday night but I had pre-ordered a peking and we were seated within 5 minutes. The Bistro can get noisey but the food is terrific and the value is excellent. Not your typical Chinese menu. Sone of my favorite dishes are Shrimp & Mango, Peking Duck, Crispy, Tangy Beef and Cha Han (Japaneese Sticky Rice) Try the Calamari appetizer... The best calamari I have experienced.
Hot and sour soup very good. Jalapeno chicken excellent with fried rice. I will go back.
My husband and I have eaten at Mr. Wok for 20 years and find it is our go to place for good Chinese food. Jack always stops by our booth to say hello. Favorites: lettuce wraps, edamame, and any of the house speciality dishes.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! IT!. My husband and I have lived in downtown Plano for 2 years and couldn't find a good Asian restaurant. We randomly drove by Mr. Wok on 14th St & quickly decided to try it out. It is wonderful! Tofu is amazing...I've loved everything I've eaten there so far! Their Pad Thai is great! You can bring your own wine or beer! We are now regular customers! Its a must try!
Non-Buffet Chinese. We were looking for something fairly close to UTD, not a buffet...and Urban spoon ranked this one high, and now I see why. Excellent and caring customer service; good quality food, quick to the table; lots of good choices.
Wall by front door w/pictures of items actually matches pretty well to what I got.

We eat here at least once a week. Family owned you will meet Jack by your second visit and he will remember you next time you are in. Food is Fabulous. Can't wait to go back!
