Had a wonderful lunch overlooking the Galleria. Great service. Waitress was very sweet. This was the absolutely best ever Grilled Cheese sandwich I've ever had. I never even could have imagined this wonderful sandwich. With a little tomato soup to go with it and homemade potato chips. Wish the chips weren't so burnt though. I will definitely go back! Great beer too. Rhinegeist Bubbly! �

Had an awesome lunch with 12 people today!! Great food, and a great server, Michael!! The grilled cheese sandwiches are so delicious. So many choices, and all sound amazing. One person had French Toast, and it was scrumptious! We can’t wait to come back—and we live in Maryland! We will be back!
Food and service were fabulous! My group occupied the private room and I wouldn’t change anything. Perfect for birthdays with the family or any small celebration. Highly recommended!! My favorites were the Brussel sprouts and chicken.
I like the yard a lot. We went for brunch and saw they opened at 11 but it seems they opened earlier for some reason? But the food is really good. The Bloody Mary is very good. The team there is also very nice.
Tate was our server on a large party and he did an amazing job. The group was booked by Braden and he was very accommodating for our needs. We look forward to coming back in the near future.
Had a buffet dinner for a group gathering, great food and great service throughout. Our servers were attentive and courteous. Will definitely be planning future get together a here!

So I was back in da burg after not less than seven years and was catching up with my best friend, I will just call him Kevin for the sake of this review because that is his name. We are cruising around and looking for something to eat. He suggests we stop by the Galleria, and I am like, "sure, why not?". We walk around for awhile and see what the options are and I see this place called "TheYard". Anyway, Kevin says the place is decent, he tells me they have "burgers and stuff".
We get seated immediately and start looking over the menu. Kevin asks if he could get one of the grilled cheeses made into a burger. The waitress informs us there is a whole other burger menu (lunch/brunch menu maybe?)... well this menu has much better looking burgers so ask for this menu!
The menu states that all the burgers are cooked though, which I am relieved to see. BURGERS/GROUND MEAT SHOULD NEVER BE PINK IN THE MIDDLE! E. coli O157 will mess you up and could kill you! I keep going to restaurants and getting pink bloody burgers and if I ask for it well done they just hand me a charcoal briquette.
I order some spicey burger with jalapeños and some amazing sauce, sadly I don't recall what it was called but it was hands down the best burger I've had in years. It was cooked through but not burnt and still juicy. The waffle fries are amazing as well, though you have to pay more for them :-( .
I still do not know why this place wasn't busier on a Friday night.
I don't recall the waitresses name but she was great as well. May she read this review and recall the conversation we had about irradiated beef and why not to eat undercooked burgers
We went here for a family reunion with everyone home for Thanksgiving. We got the private room and it was a great time. Food was solid. The draft list was extensive and the server assigned to us was amazing. Killer grilled cheeses that come with a cup of tomato soup. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken dip.
This place was so good! The draught beer selection is packed with a good mix of local brews, crafts, and imports. The food is amazing. The short rib sandwich, Dr. Dobak, was amazing. If you're into IPAs, try the Helltown Misfits and Misanthropes. A+ service.
All we had were some appetizers they were very good, the drinks were good. No time for a meal, we were on our way to a movies but we will go back food look like it was very good
If you are looking for good collection of beer with descent food, then Yard is a good place. Ambience is nice and open. There is wide variety of beers to choose from whether you prefer stouts, ipas or sours. As I said food was descent. Service is prompt and courteous. All n all a good place to hang out with friends and family.
Great restaurant for comfort food with a unique twist.
