Good chicken sandwich! Not crazy flavorful but good texture on the fried chicken and a nice bun. I'd recommend adding lettuce for some extra crunch. The waffle fries are good too!
Not much of a sit down spot, more of a grab-and-go or delivery spot. There is some indoor seating though.
Finally got a chance to stop here. Ordered nuggets, fish combo and a deluxe chicken sandwich to go. Got the level 1 oil and seasoning on the side. Turned the air fryer on when we got them home, mixed the seasoning and oil and added it to the sandwich, dropped both sandwiches in the air fryer for an extra crunch and the sandwiches were very, very good. Glad we had a chance to stop here to sample some items. No parking but found a spot around the corner on the street. Some seating available inside.
Chicken fingers are my jam and I haven't had these yet. And they're pretty good. Juicy, reasonable spice level, good dipping sauces. Ate through the bag but I'd almost be disappointed if it didn't.
That said, though, it's probably going to be low on my "come back" list because as long as CHiKN is in Oakland, I'm gonna go there for larger portions at the same price point. The sides here are especially over-inflated for what you get.
Amazing food! I figured the theme was gonna be spicy chicken so this place was perfect to me. Very crispy chicken that tasted wonderful; reasonably priced as well. I don't recommend eating inside though because it is SO warm in there! I feel bad for the cooks :(
My brother and I stopped in for a quick lunch today and I can say I was very, very pleased. Great chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. The sandwich was served on a great bun with some of the best fried chicken I've had. I got the spicy chicken, but I might need to try the extra hot one as well. It's a quaint little place with not too many tables, but seemed quite nice for our late lunch. Service was pretty quick, but not so quick that it seemed like pre-made food! I totally recommend you stop byand try for yourself.
We only tried the strips and waffle fries - will have to go back for the beignets!
All were quite good and very fresh.. The chicken was maybe a little too fresh, as it was dripping in scalding hot oil that soaked the bag and made it hard to eat for a few minutes.. But it was very crisp and tender nonetheless.
We were initially nervous about their spice rankings because of the names (and based on our experience at Chikn), but found a 2 here to be more of a 1. It might just depend on who is working that day.
Main complaint was that the tables inside were super sticky, like the wood finish got messed up with cleaning products.
The deluxe burger is very good for a fast-food-like place. It is a bit pricey ($11) for deluxe but it comes with bacon and an egg which makes it much more appealing than the regular burger in my opinion. I enjoyed their chicken which was fried very nicely.
Man oh man this place was off the hook!!! I recently visited and I am not disappointed!!! I had the regular chicken sandwich combo and my son got the spice level number 3... they have an option from 0 to 4... the chicken was juicy and flavorful, the mayo was delicious and the bun was everything!! So good.. and their fries, are waffle fries that are delicious and crispy.. their nuggets were amazing... best chicken sandwich I ever had! I live super close and I’m so happy it’s right around the corner. Will be back and I highly recommend.
Let me suggest a "hidden" gem to y'all- you know the chicken sandwich battle going on between the two big franchise's? Welp, we gotta add this restaurant, I dare you to compare☺. I choose number 3 spice, wow, had quite the bang! I'm sure number 5 spice will have the skin in your mouth peeling, if that's what you like😂. Please stop in and enjoy the chicken sandwich, oh the potatoes too. I've never eaten potatoes like these! Delicious! One more thing, thanks Diane, your the hostess with the mostest☺.
Not gonna lie. I was just getting off work adi was starving gang. But I got a chicken sandwich combo RIP flavor and it blew my socks off. This is one of my favorite spots to go to.
