Great bar! Very homey yet welcoming vibe. They also have local open-mic nights with stand-up and free art. Definitely worth a visit! My boyfriend will have a few paintings hanging there for the next few months.
The small outdoor area outside is awesome, with a great view of a nearby church.
If you haven't had a beer cocktail, this is the place to try one. They have several that are quite different (see: the diesel) but are awesome!
My wife, Kali and I walked into a fun, hip, but not crazy atmosphere greeted with helpful staff. Pints on Penn has a coffeehouse feel, but the TV's and digital jukebox add an upbeat component to an adroitly rehabbed historic establishment. The beer selection is on the right path with terrific local and regional breweries.The menu is familiar and classy. Although not extensive, the food menu gave us much to decide on. The chef combines simple ideas with extraordinary flavors, and the presentation tells you someone put thought into the items. We had excellent service from Maya, the bartender. Friendly, informative and perfectly attentive, she represented our table with a loveable "cool". Amazing, is the word I would use to describe this place. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere is welcoming and hip. Get the bacon skewers, you won't regret it. They turned two vegetarians. Seriously.
The place is a great neighborhood bar. Awesome service and a AWESOME BACON appetizer. Justin the bar manager took wonderful care of our crew.
This place is tucked away just between Lawrenceville and the Strip, perfect place to start drinking or end up late night. Happy hour is decent too!
