My first time at Gadzooks, they feature build your own enchiladas, tacos, and bowls. Lots of fresh ingredients and toppings to choose from. Fast and casual and served in clay crockery, they also serve soups beer wine and margaritas as well as a lunchtime combo with a drink entree and side for $15. You can purchase a Groupon or Local Flavor coupon to save 50% of $30 . Our food had lots of flavor they also have vegan options.
First time here today. The gentleman working was so friendly and helpful with the ordering process and made the most perfect delicious enchiladas we have ever had. Really top notch customer care here. They cook up super quick and all ingredients were so fresh and flavorful. Super clean establishment also, can’t wait to try more options!
They never disappoint! The food is always consistently good and the cookies, tacos and enchiladas are amazing! You can pick your torilla; flour, corn mixed with flour or corn. Then you choose a delicious meat of your choice. I always go with the chicken or beef. They have several topping that you can add on in addition to cheeses. They place it all in the wood fire oven for a few minutes then when it comes out you choose more toppings of your choice. The price is reasonable and the service is fast and friendly. I finished my meal then remembered I wanted to share the experience. It's so good you will finish it all like I did!
Great enchiladas.. great place to get enchiladas easy parking easy visibility from Camelback I've been going to this restaurant since they've opened I've also visited their other locations in Chandler Arizona. I recommend getting the chicken enchiladas add spinach at green sauce with the coleslaw option added on the enchiladas. I highly recommend the chicken enchiladas. I also recommend the bison if they have it it sounds weird but it's fantastic thank you for reading my Google review
I have to say that hence the name “Gadzooks”, I was pleasantly surprised with the taste of the food! I’m a huge critic of Mexican food. I had the enchilada plate with one chicken and one beef, both red and green salsa. I added a side of their smashed jack potato-which tasted like a filling I add to my homemade potato crunchy tacos. When a restaurant has tasty salsas, the food is usually good. The service was also a plus! Just need a little more guidance for new customers, but the server was great at explaining the options! Apology for the messy photo, I couldn’t wait to try! Lol
I was looking for a really good bowl of chicken tortilla soup and did a Google search based on 'top reviews for chicken tortilla soup in Phoenix. Gadzooks was top of the list. It hit the spot and was as flavorful as I was hoping for.
Amazing! “Build your own” style enchiladas with lots of fresh, quality options across the board. My personal favorite is the bison and their cornbread is really great too! This place hits the spot every time and it’s been great to see more locations open up across the Phoenix valley over the past few years. Definitely check it out!
Delicious. Filling. Don’t let the size of the enchiladas fool you. Also easy to end with $16 per person for a drink and enchiladas. All worth it though. Try a cornbread enchilada along with bison and you’ll definitely enjoy your meal. Friendly and quick. Glad they are in the neighborhood.
We ordered takeout and had it door-dashed to us, so this review is for the food only. My wife and I both got the enchiladas. She got chicken with red sauce, I got pork with Christmas (both red and green sauce), and picked onions on top. They did not come with sides, but they didn’t need any. The pics don’t do it justice, because it was excellent. Would order from here again.
"How much for 2 tacos?" Yes, that was my initial impression. The kind person behind the counter assured me it was plenty of food. And they were right. Ordered the tacos. These are fairly big, filling and eat with a fork type tacos. Very good! The place is very well done and has a great vibe.
