This is one of the best locations to get fish and chips. The customer service is good. I ordered the five piece fish and chips. The cod fish were a satisfactory size. However, I gave them four stars instead of five because they do not give you a lot of fries. With that amount of fish, you need to have a lot of fries. I do recommend this location.

We love this location in south Phoenix near our church and swing by every chance we get.
I enjoy the fish and shrimp combo, while my wife who isn’t much of a shrimp fan just gets the fish - but we both dig Pete’s spicy sauce!
Getting in and out of this location is a little challenging at the moment due to the construction on Central, and parking is a little sparse, but the food is really great for the price and worth the hassle!
Place is pretty dirty but the food is good lol. If you don't mind dirty dirty tables but good food you will be fine. Everything is SUPER CHEAP and they give you a lot of food. Sauce is good but no need to buy extra I bought extra but they put plenty on my plate.
This location is always my favorite, as living in South Phoenix I grew up coming here. This time I got 50% of my meal lol, one of the pieces of fish had no fish inside the breading. Other than that, you can't go wrong fried burritos and a 2 piece fish. Monster burgers always hit the spot too. Needless to say, this is definitely a go to.
Just grabbed food for the first time from here and I will definitely be back in the future! Cheaper than fast food and way better quality!
As someone who gets ill when I eat seafood, I was hesitant when my friend first brought me to Pete's. However I've gone at least twice a month since then, I might not eat the fish but Pete's has burgers and chicken options that s great. Love the 8pc tender combo, it's pretty cheap compared to something similar at other restaurants and usually I have a couple tenders left after I'm full that I can save for later.
Kinda pissed cuz I ordered my burger w/out onions. Guess what ? I realize the order taker was new but how hard is it to make clear,"no onions ?" Not very. Not putting the poor girl down cuz we do all make mistakes. Good luck 🤞

Been a Pete's lover since I was 5, that's 29 years of love for this restaurant! Always great food, great service!
