This was my first time visiting Hector's crab house. It was a amazing experience. I feel like family in there and the food was great. I can't wait to go back again. If you haven't been u have to go.
Amazing!!. I was really impressed with their prices, but even more with the taste of their fried shrimp platter. This coming from a baltimore girl. I will definitely be coming back to the store when I am back in Philly.

The food is good! The service is awesome! It has a very warm family vibe! I was just passing by on my way back to jersey & now I can't get enough! I go get some every time I find myself in Philadelphia!!! Hector definitely has a new adopted family member!
Whenever I come home to Philly, I always stop here to grab some seafood. The owner is a great guy who I consider a friend since I began coming to this place. The food is delicious and though they wow me with all the selectios they add to the menu, my favorite is the Alaskan platter with shrimp. Oh and their clams is delicious too!
We've eaten at lots of seafood restaurants before and this "Neighborhood Gem" was by far the best we've had!! Really fresh, flavored and reasonably priced seafood!!! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hector himself took our order and helped us make our choice since it was our first time there. My only recommendation is to work on the ambiance, couple of tables and chairs outside, some Caribbean music and it will be off the chain!!! We'll be back as regular customers!
Been coming ever since they opened and I'm still satisfied. They give you samples to make you mind up even more and the staff is so friendly!!! Doesn't smell like bad fish either like bobs on allegheny. First choice to get quality seafood in phila. If you're looking for great food then this is the place to go. They used to have the seafood fries that would blow your mind away. Not sure if they still do but if so, try them. Crabs are fresh and so is the shrimp. I'm forever a loyal customer.

In visiting Hector crab house not only was the food delectable the owner literally makes you feel like your at home. He customizes your platter and he allows you to sample because his philosophy is the food & flavor will sell itself...& it does. I highly recommend that you visit & support Hector & bill because it will be worth your while
I've never liked seafood until I came here!!!! I was going to get a plain ole hoagie until Big Hurt had me trying a lil of everything and I fell in love!!! Every single thing is delicious. Everytime I'm in Philly I stop here. ❤❤❤❤ it!
Great and fast service,seafood salads are on point, shrimps have a great seasoning. Best place to grab seafood!! Hands down Better than Bob's crabs!
This was my favorite go to seafood place here in Philadelphia. I’m miss Hector so much and it wasn’t just the delicious food but he was an awesome guy. May he R.I.P. because he is surely missed!
Hector always take care of me. When i go out of town i get a whole 5lbs of cajun shrimp salad . my whole family loves it.
Love this place. Food is excellent staff is excellent and no charge for sauteed. This place rocks. I think I prefer this place over Bob's and Bob's has good food.
