I just stopped here for the first time, not realizing I showed up right when they were closing, but the person there (Debbie?) was the sweetest and gave me some delicious food. Their homemade seitan was the best and reminded me of one of my favorite places back in NH. I'll definitely come here again soon! Thanks💜
If you want the best, healthiest and delicious food at an amazing price, you should always go to Magic Carpet. Lots of options on the menu, REAL TASTE and Dean, the owner, is the nicest guy ever! Everything is prepared with excellence!

This is the healthiest, most consistently repeatable lunch option in University City. The wraps are all amazing, the side salads are much better than the standard side of iceberg you get at a of places, and the soups are delicious.
But the real secret? The chili. Seriously, their vegetarian chili is some of the best chili in the area. Don't sleep on the chili. Get it over rice and veggies or on it's own.

Magic Carpet is a must-visit lunch destination in Univ City, Phil. I have been eating there for 19y, it never gets old. Amazing vegetarian food, and be sure to buy a cookie!
