I absolutely love when I can find a place like this during my travels I saw the big beautiful building in my eyes about popped out of my head thinking oh my gosh this is got to be where I want to be. Then I saw the parking lot which was completely full and then to my surprise walking in just a beautiful establishment with wonderful people ready to greet me.
I got a breakfast bagel and a pumpkin coffee and decided to splurge and get pumpkin gluten-free cake which was amazing gluten-free cake which was delicious . I decided on my way out to buy a bag of coffee and get another coffee to go.
Wish I was a local I would totally hang out here!!
Alas - back to Michigan
Great atmosphere, everyone had a great personality, greeted with a smile and great conversations. Good coffee and nice butter cheese danish.

And the customer service between Maggie and Addison are amazing! They are the reason why I come back. They know my order before I even get to the window which is great. They also recommend things to me to be adventurous. I don't think I dislike anything they recommend.
Best coffee I've had in a long time. My daughter and I both ordered the "poetccino" I had the caramel and she had the vanilla. It's a frozen coffee. Guys, way better than Starbucks. The inside is so cute and intimate. Next time I go I'm going to try one of their pastries. The only bad thing is the parking lot is pretty small but that'd be the only complaint I have for this place
Super cute place and friendly staff. First place we visited when we got to Florida. Lots of baked goods to choose from. Comfy atmosphere and good break from a long drive.
I took a 5 day camping trip and the only cup I brought came from my last coffee run at the Drowsy Poet. It lasted the whole trip. So in addition to delicious beans and great service, DP does not skimp on cup quality.
This is my favorite coffee shop in Pensacola, Fl. You have to come and try the coffee from this place, the atmosphere, the smell, the taste and the staff are wonderful.
Coconut mocha poetchino with a shot of espresso- excellent! I go here often and it's good every time.
This is the best coffee place in Pensacola hands down !!! Also their sugar free options are better than any coffee around lol !! 😆 loveeeee the Milton and shakespear ( both sugar free option! ) when I wasn't watching my weight I added coconut to the regular but the sugar frees are perfect !
The Drowsy Poet was delightful experience from the moment we walked in. The coffee bean aroma was alluring and we felt welcomed with the very friendly and helpful staff. The Chocolate Cheesecake with a cup of Poe is an amazing combo. If ever in Pensacola again, we will definitely stop by for more delicious coffee and treats. Highly recommending this place, especially for those mornings before PensaCon!
