Family run place that has excellent sushi!!! Don't go if you are expecting a quick in and out experience. Put down your phones and connect with the person you go with! Quality takes time. That being said... been there with the family tons of times and NEVER a bad meal!!! Please be aware that it is slow service, but seriously, excellence takes time. Presentation is always perfection! And the prices? OMG!!! Family of 4 got out of there for around $60! That amount has now gone up a little since they added wine/beer though - but yeah! 😉 I would totally recommend this to anyone who likes sushi! Favorite dishes: Dream, Hot Lover and the appetizer that looks like a volcano made out of avocado & crab spewing out of top (forgot name, maybe Volcano?)
Really good sushi!!! It's a family run place and everyone has a role. The service was great but I have always called ahead for take-out.
This place has the best sushi. Its true you’re going to have to wait. And often wait a long time but it’s worth it. They are a two person show and it’s not rushed.
So place an order get a large hot sake or two and wait for the sushi!

As someone who really only gets sushi from wegmans , I ordered take out from here and holy moly it’s fresh af and the most amazing sushi I’ve had. I got a salmon roll and an eel roll. Will be trying other things in the near future.
Best sushi you will ever eat. Below is the Sushi King Lobster Roll and the sushi for 2 on the right. Absolutely delicious and a great selection of rolls and appetizers. The sushi was so fresh and carefully crafted. Great staff and friendly atmosphere an absolute must go if you like sushi or are interested in trying it for the first time.

Been to Multiple other sushi restaurants and they dont match Sushi King. The sushi is not room temperature which I absolutely love it gives it a fresher cleaner taste. The portion sizes are great and the lunch specials are out of this world. The mochies and fried cheesecake are simply unforgettable. My favorite is the Gyozas.

Sushi King is fantastic! I’ve dined-in and ordered out and was beyond pleased with the service, the freshness, and the art of the meals! Absolutely would recommend any of their special rolls, regular rolls, and sashimi!
Best Sushi, service very slow due to short staff.
Best sushi in Rochester, hands down. I bring friends and family here all the time. The service can be slow but the wait is worth it - just be patient and enjoy some conversation. Ingredients and sauces are all unique and creative, the rolls are true works of art. The fish is always fresh.
This place was SOOOOO unexpectedly good! The price was amazing (we got a ton of food) and the food quality is top notch. The sit down dining is bare bones (don't expect a fine dining experience) but, who cares when the service and product is on point! Lol:) 100% will be back again!
Best sushi/sashimi dinner deal. Just don't ever try to dine in there. Ever. It will take you probably 2 hours for the dishes.
