Simple Italian food that's consistently good! We've been going here for several years and you always know what you're going to get: friendly service, huge portions and an incredible meal. I keep trying to find another Italian restaurant that's casual like Rosey's with the simple Italian food...haven't yet. Recommendations: chicken parm, linguine with clams, lasagna, ravioli. I did not personally care for the gnocchi but folks consistently order and love it. Don't forget the Oreo cake. It's so good!
Quick fix. Roseys is a great option for affordable decent italian food. There is better Italian here on the East side, but it is all much more expensive. If you are craving classic, simple Italian food at a reasonable price Rosies is a great choice.
Best eggplant in town!. I frequently call from work to pick up my dinner. My favorite is eggplant with angel hair. Always ready for me when I get there and still hot when I get it home (2 minutes away by car). I'm never disappointed! The portion is such that I can have dinner with enough left over to pack for lunch the next day. Can't beat that for the price.
“ITALIAN cooked to Perfection !!!. Before I tasted my meal, the aroma of the tomato sauce brought back memories of my grandfather's sauce from when I was a boy. His sauce was the best I ever had. Rick Vitale must have followed his recipe because Rick's is the best red sauce that I've had in the Rochester area.
The three of us enjoyed a delicious parmesan platter of chicken, veal and eggplant served with gnocchi. All of us cleaned our plates and one of my friends made an additional order, to go, for his wife.

If you are not Italian, try Rosey's to find out what real Italian food tastes like. After your meal, don't thank me, just tell others of your new dining experience.
TIP: The restaurant fills up during peak hours, try to get a table before noon or the dinner hour.
Wow!. You won't be disappointed in this place. The food is outstanding... fresh, great, authentic flavors and big portions. My family loves it here and the kids beg to come for dinner regularly. The only drawback is the seating space- wish it was a larger dining room. But other than that, this is likely the best Italian food you'll find anywhere in Rochester. Great restaurant!
Chefs kiss! The sauce was perfect. Bread dipped in sauce, amazing! The gnocchi so soft and pillowy! I enjoyed the flavor! Atmosphere was gorgeous and service was welcoming and kind. Thank you!
Went to Rosey's for the first time 3 weeks ago and I have been every Saturday since. I have been looking for a restaurant like this since moving to the Rochester area 15 years ago. Incredibly affordable and amazing Italian food. I have ate in and done takeout and they are both excellent. I will be going here weekly for the rest of time.
I called at closing and they were happy to take my order. I picked up my food 10 minutes later, and it tasted AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Love your food-always. I am a big fan. Such a nice staff too. XOXO
I met a friend for lunch during the week on a very hot day, and as I pulled into the parking lot I realized this little place tucked in a small plaza, I worried if we'd get a seat, as it was packed. When I arrived, a lovely table was cleared for me as I awaited my friend. Now, it gives me more of a diner feel, considering the prices for the food. I'm a Celiac so this was a bit difficult to order, but I was able to get Gluten-free pasta, and the Chicken French. I have to tell you this was a large meal and I'm just over 100 lbs, and I ate the entire meal, and it was absolutely fantastic. The chicken came in three tenderloins with the perfect sauce. My friend ordered a Chicken Ceasar salad with Cajun rubbed chicken and enjoyed as well.

I order for pick up, it was ready within 10-15 minutes. Their food is delicious, first time ordering from them. The customer service is excellent. I ordered the Chicken and Artichoke French meal with linguine and an appetizer is Fried Calamari. Highly recommend when you have that Italian craving.
I had the special....Lasagne, with chicken parm. The Lasagne was layers of pasta,hardly any filling, the chicken was over cooked and crunchy.
I did get to take home what was left, but they put it in the box and did not put the leftover sauce with it. The sauce was tasty.
My wife had the bada bang shrimp and linguine special. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the chix parm. Nice little place with charm and great food. Prices are really reasonable too. Definitely be back.
We love this restaurant and go a few times a year, after our last Finneran, we will go more oftem!!! The food is great, we all loved our entrees, especially the eggplant parm....Fantastic!
I ordered a kids portion of the angel hair with oil and garlic. Pretty good! I'd like some green seasonings in there like basil, parsley, oregano, something. But thats me being picky lol
This is the best kept secret in town. Tha food is plentiful and so delicious. I had chicken and artichoke French over angel hair pasta that was amazing. Service was spot on also. I highly recommend this restaurant.
