Another fantastic restaurant to visit in Pawleys Island area! Get there a little earlier like we did for dinner before the evening rush starts because once it does good luck finding a parking spot and a table! Food was great! My 6 yr old even got their big salmon and almost devoured the whole thing! You won't be disappointed with any meal here!

Everything our party of 8 got was great. No one left hungry after leaving the Hanser House. My friend loved his Ostyers, and I loved my seafood pasta! A couple of folks also enjoyed their steaks. All in all, it was a great experience!!
Food was excellent, with generous portions. Our waitress was very attentive, bringing refills to our table before we asked.
Service was fantastic. Never had to flag waitress down. Food was very good. We will return. We had steam pot. Yumm
I truly do love this place. They have excellent food, a large menu and the waitress we had was top notch. We had about 30 plus people that day and all received our food hot and at the same time. I had jambalaya. It was wonderful. A little spicy but not overly. They have the best hush puppies. I will definitely return.

This place holds a very special place in my heart! Every year growing up my family went to Litchfield for a week each year and Hanser House was always our favorite place to eat. Fast forward to now, my husband and I have adopted going to Litchfield for a week each year as our tradition, and Hanser House is our favorite stop. We spent our first wedding anniversary dinner here last year & look forward to our second there this September! Every single thing on the menu is unbelievable. I always get the shrimp & my husband isn’t a fish guy… (I know), and he gets the ribs. The first time we went there he ate a rack of ribs & the kitchen brought him out a whole new rack because they thought his first rack was too burnt! We were shocked and so grateful. The service is top notch, everyone is always so friendly and happy. Hush puppies are the best around and extremely dangerous. Portions are huge, and I always leave with leftovers! Don’t forget to say hi to Granny if you see her while you’re there.

Good vibes and great food! The crab cakes, shrimp fettuccine, and mussels were perfect. Portions are huge so make sure to come hungry. Service was great, the wines are super reasonably priced. Always worth a stop. Wish I had room to try their mouth watering desserts.
Good old seafood restaurant experience. Growing up in the area, it was a special occasion to get to go out for a seafood dinner. Eating at Hanser House brings back all those wonderful memories.
The food is delicious (the hush puppies are addictive) and the service is polite and efficient. There is a great family atmosphere that makes it a little loud but not so much you can't carry on a conversation.
I've been taking my elderly father there regularly for the past couple of years. The staff is so helpful and kind to him making the ordeal of him in his wheelchair so much less stressful.
If you are vacationing in the area or a local on a night out, Hansor House will give you the real local seafood restaurant experience. I recommend the fried shrimp (my favorite for almost 60 years). Theirs is just right.
Had my company Christmas dinner at The Hanser House. Had a hiccup with the room we were to use, it all turned out just fine. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the bill was $1.000 less than what I normally spend for 22 people with dinner and drinks. We wanted a private quiet room and we didn’t get that. But, the evening turned out fine. The key lime pie was also delicious, an unexpected treat!
