The best, freshest sandwiches ! They have Italian chocolates too. The owners are very nice . She gives me a free dessert treat every time I come here.
The Corleone is my fave!
The best Italian toasted sub sandwiches in Old Town Pasadena. Try it for yourself and see. Sooooo good.
Given the freshness of the bread, deli cuts, and produce, paired with the warming kindness of the family running the business, I would value their subs between $80-$120.
Luckily for us, they’re really between $10-$14.
As the greater LA area continues to suffer from lack of quality sandwich places (compared to NY), you can rest assured knowing this place is doing their part to provide one of the greatest Italian sub shops around.
I called to place a pick up order for the Sal Tessio veggie sandwich with olive spread. It was ready in 10 minutes just like they said it would be. And then when I got there, I spied a walnut filled treat - bonus! The sandwich, which I’ve gotten a few times now, is absolutely fresh and delicious, a perfect savory blend and - no regrets, the walnut treat was just right, not too sweet, satisfyingly flaky and crumbly. One of my go-to work lunch stops.
First since my office relocated, I have searched for a near by Italian deli, and I think this is going to be the spot. True it's more of a coffee shop that sells sandwiches, but I walked in and behind the counter was a pile of fresh baked Italian rolls....very promising to say the least. They have a very good variety, and the product is outstanding, everything was fresh and delicious and exceeded my expectations. I had a basic turkey sandwich, but if a deli can do basic well, they can usually make everything else just as good if not better. They are very friendly and accommodating, and if you want top notch coffee and a pastry, they are also very high quality. I will be back at least once a month.
Very good Italian sandwich cafe that somehow has survived the pandemic. We need to support these family operated businesses. I've enjoyed every sandwich and salad I've tried!
I had the Anderson Silva sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. This little deli reminds me of a true European deli and the owners are delightful.
I was introduced to this little slice of heaven by the owners son, Patrick. The whole family is great...very nice, very friendly.
If you are looking for a place where you can go for a treat...this is it! Everything is fresh and made to order. It may be a little pricey, but it's well worth it!
Every good italian knows that the key to a good sandwich has to do with the bread!!!! Hands down...no contest....THE most important ingredient. The bread has to be the right combo of crunchy outside and soft inside to achieve the perfect bite factor. And this place has some serious bite factor! I got the Fat Clemenza (because he's my favorite character ) and my first bite was perfecto . It made my little italian heart proud!
Place is cute too - decked out in everything Godfather-esque. Prices are reasonable, service is prompt, and there's a decent amount of indoor and some outdoor seating.
It's a solid little lunch spot if your looking for a quick bite to eat in Old Town.
The sandwiches are top notch. I still go to Subway every now and then, but the quality here is much better. Try the Vinni Barbarino or the cold tuna sandwich. The owners are nice, but again the quality and the taste of the sandwiches sets this place apart.
