One of the best Japanese / Sushi restaurants I have ever been to. Everything, and I repeat - EVERYTHING - we ordered was incredible. I highly recommend getting at least one of the sushi rolls with cream cheese - it’s a game changer. I would also highly recommend the Baby Back Ribs (Tonkotsu) Ramen, it was so so good! Super highly recommend this place.
The service was great. Our server was nice and attentive. The menu prices are reasonable and they taste great. The location was also nice in the old town Pasadena with a free 90 minutes parking right around the corner.
Here is a bonus point: you can find so many different items on their menu. Sushi, sashimi, poke, bento box, ramen, etc.
Amazing sushi. We ordered five different rolls, all of which were great tasting and large quantity. The fish was super fresh, the rolls had little rice and the presentation was very well done. The decor was beautiful, great vibes and great service.
I was very impressed with my experienced here. The wait staff was very friendly and ready to help. They kept us updated about our orders at all times. The sushi was delicious and filling. Got the Bad Angel and the Say Fish rolls. Will be coming back soon! 10/10
Great value both our chirashi and ramen are good portion. Fish are fresh and ramen soup taste good. The ribs can be little more tender
LOVE THE FOOD! Geat fresh sushi. Good assortment and fair pricing. Very good drinks. Service was SLOW-Mo. Not attentive and food took a long time. Atmosphere is nothing to write home about. Very basic. They do have outdoor street seating.
If I only ordered the dragon roll, I would have given 5 stars plus.
Visiting from out of town:
We ended up ordering takeout since the evening reservations were fully booked. We gave our order two hours prep time which worked for us and they were able to take the order since they were passing up on takeout orders as well that evening.
I ordered two pieces of squid, one was good, one was unedible. So unfortunately I can't recommend that dish. However, the dragon roll was THE best dragon roll I have had from a sushi restaurant. It will be had to mach the next time I order sushi again. But that darn squid. The others enjoyed there meals without issues.
Would recommend going back, just not for the 🦑.
Quality fish and VERY friendly staff. The Cute Devil roll and salmon sashimi were a standout!
