This my second time eating at this restaurant. The food is fantastic and they make the guacamole right in front of you so you know it's fresh! The atmosphere is great too! There's live music and lights and it's all around. It's just a fun place to be. When it comes to a waiter, I highly recommend asking to sit with a waiter named Jesse. The first time my friends and I got seated with him and he was super friendly, super helpful and always seemed to be there when we had a question about the menu. This time when I went, I asked for him specifically and he didn't fail to tend to any request I had. He knows the menu very well and is happy to help however he can. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food, friendly faces and a good time!
Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food is one of many dining options available at Universal City Walk. Although the decor is very lively and fun, It certainly is very far from being Authentic. That’s not necessarily a bad thing thing though. The food that is served up is pretty decent for the most part, and some things can be hit or miss, but let’s face it...this in the heart of a huge tourist area. While I wouldn't go so far as to say it’s a tourist trap, it is a place that I’m ok with not being fully authentic. Once you step inside of Antojitos, you will find a lively fiesta vibe with neon lights, loud music, and array of decorations that get you into party mode.
Really terrific - two of the best margaritas (made from scratch) that I’ve ever had, and a dish that (had it been optimally hot - server issue) was truly new to me and outstanding. Also live music and fun ambiance all around. A little pricey but worth it.
Great atmosphere, tasty food. We enjoy eating upstairs on the balcony where the music isn’t as loud as it is inside. The nachos are delicious and the hot salsa is amazing.
Live music, an endless tequila bar menu, and delicious food is promised and delivered by Antojitos. We were first almost turned away by the wait, however this large venue really knows how to manage a large flow of people!
Stopped in here for dinner, great atmosphere and staff. We ordered guacamole, they prepare it fresh at the table and it was amazing. The food was delicious and fresh. Nd live music.
Fast service, great food. Live music was very good too. Interesting atmosphere. Can't think of a thing bad to say; thanks for the experience.
Its the atmosphere that you will love.
Live band.
Big open spaces .
Came here for a beer and some nachos.
Guacamole is the best feature.
Guy comes in a cart and prepares the mix in front of you as per your taste.
Service was great.

The menu has gluten-free items clearly marked with a red "GF" symbol. I informed my waiter that I was a gluten and dairy allergy, and he told me that he would key the allergy into the ordering system as well as pass on the allergy to the chef. When my food arrived, it was announced as a gluten and dairy allergy order. While looking over the menu, our waiter brought by complementary chips and salsa to munch on. I triple checked before biting into a chip to make sure they were safe, given the all-too sneaky cross contamination of shared fryers.

Good Drinks. Stopped into Antojitos for drinks and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great and the bartender was awesome! Probably be back for late lunch or dinner sometime soon!!!
I thought the food here was really really good. The table side guacamole was the best I’ve ever had and I loved the street tacos. I ordered the chicken and it had a ton of flavor and it was a perfect portion. I had the Blood Orange Margarita as well and it was great. It is very pricey, but to be expected for location. It’s also really loud I’m there. I loved our server and I also appreciated them filling up the delicious chips!
Made reservations in advance, easy check in and was seated right away. The inside is beautiful and very much a vibe, lots of outdoor seating as well. Sitting outside, I did feel a little forgotten as it wasn't really busy but took awhile to see our waitress at times. She was friendly and food was made to order though. Queso is delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food. It's pricey but it's a theme park, so wasn't unexpected. Large portions, so no one left hungry.
Left the park and took a chance that we could get in. Only took 15 minutes. Was able to go into bar area order drinks and relax as we waited for our table. Watermelon margarita was delicious. We were seated quickly with a large bowl of chips and accompanying salsa. Highly recommend the table side guacamole and the chimichanga. Our boys also liked their burritos. Neat place and great customer service.
Decent food, especially for a theme park setting. The environment is very loud, so just be aware of that before going. If you’re looking for an intimate, relaxing setting this isn’t it. Food is decent, but nothing to write home about. Chips & salsa is generous and I like their salsa.
If you love guacamole, you have to get the tableside service. It's as fresh as it gets.
The salsa was equally as good.
The rest of the food was fine. Nothing special, but not bad either.
Beers are overpriced just like all the restaurants here, so don't expect your typical big cheap beer like you find at your local Mexican restaurant. These ain't those.
We visited this place while in town.
This place is located in Universal walk so if you go before 6pm you will have to pay $30 for parking.
The staff is friendly but it seem like it took a while for our server to acknowledge us. Finally our server did come by and she was very courteous.
The food arrived very quick but to be honest our order was pretty simple as well. Overall the food tasted fresh and good but nothing to write home about. I did notice that the refried beans had a but of spicy to them but the beans and rice didn't have much flavor. I also decided to give the Horchata a try and that was a disappointment.
The place is very spacious and also very loud. It also has a nice open concept with a view of the kitchen area.
I would recommend this place if you're already visiting the Universal theme parks and looking for something to eat. I wouldn't suggest traveling a great distance just to eat here as it may not be worth it.
For an authentic Mexican meal, this is it. Antojitos impressed me with their stellar service and good food ! We tried their tamales and shrimp tostada —- so good!, I highly recommend both for appetizer, as well as the all time favorite nachos. The beef chimichanga was okay, the enchiladas was tasty!
After a very long day at the parks, we went here to eat. Our waiter Mike was phenomenal. He asked about allergies and was not only knowledgeable about what out children could or couldn't have but he made sure to make sure throughout the night the allergies were still watched and accomodated. The tableside guacamole, the queso and the meals were delicious. We knew it was going to be expensive with being on City Walk but it was worth it and we had a great time.
I sat at the crowded bar to dine. I quickly greeted by a friendly bartender. I ordered a margarita which was made and served promptly, along chips and salsa. The margarita was not all that good and seemed to lack much alcohol. It tasted weak and a bit too sweet, in my opinion. I also found the chips to be a bit stale and the salsa lacked flavor and seasoning. My Cobb Salad, however, was very good. I was most impressed with the Cobb salad so much so that I’m thinking of going back for another one before the end of my vacation.
I had a wonderful dining experience at Antojitos Mexican Restaurant! The atmosphere was truly amazing, creating a vibrant and lively ambiance that enhanced the overall dining experience. The food was outstanding—full of flavor and authenticity that made every bite a delight.
While the food and atmosphere were exceptional, I'd recommend making reservations in advance. The wait time was a bit longer than anticipated, but it's definitely worth it. Plus, the anticipation only heightened my excitement to try their dishes.
A highlight of the evening was definitely the table-side guacamole. It's an absolute must-try! The interactive experience of watching it being prepared right in front of you adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.
Overall, Antojitos Mexican Restaurant is a gem for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The food, atmosphere, and table-side guacamole make it a place that's worth visiting again and again. Just remember to plan ahead and make those reservations for a seamless and unforgettable evening.
