I had dinner here during my stay at Grande Vista and this place was spectacular. I had the three course meal, the calamari, the brisket and a cheesecake. My infant loved everything in the meal. We had an amazing time. The staff was really friendly.
Our server Ashley could not have been more accommodating. The food was a bit of a hit or miss. We dined there a few times during our stay. The coffee ranged for non drinkable to tolerable. The breakfast dishes were good. FYI, the yogurt is not desirable, but the egg dishes are a better choice. Lunch was very tasty. For being so convenient on such a large property like Grande Vista, they need to step it up!!. Thank you, Ashley, for making it pleasurable.
We spent all day at Animal Kingdom and we're starving. The restaurant said they could take our party of 7 right away, awesome. The atmosphere was nice being on a golf course, a little sedate with older clientele. Our server was young and enthusiastic, took our drink orders and served quickly. He was very attentive 😊. The food was good and all in all not a bad experience. THE ONE downside actually had nothing to do with the restaurant but a man at the small bar inside yelled at my granddaughters for walking around with the baby who was exhausted and being a baby 😳 We of course were upset and my husband had a few words with him. He said children didn't belong in a bar and was corrected that we were in a family restaurant. Hopefully management or the bartender will be more willing to diffuse a situation such as this in the future because it was highly inappropriate.
We ate here three mornings in a row while we played around the resort. The servers were quite friendly and personal, even when there were more tables than they could get to. The food was creative and original given the need for a menu that could suit many tastes. As breakfast, it was quite satisfying, with everything well done and to order. Once the order was in, the food didn’t take too long to prepare, either. Everyone ate well. The facilities were clean and the conditions fresh. The breakfast tacos with plant meat were a favorite of the spouse.
I loved our lunch here. The food and service was spectacular. I would definitely come back!
We ate at the Grill at Grande Vista twice during our stay. One time for breakfast and the second time for dinner. We put in for reservations both times as we were staying at the Grande Vista and it was easy to call from the room. Breakfast was good and fairly priced. we paid around 40 dollars for two people. we ordered an eggs benedict and an All-american breakfast (toast, sausage, eggs and breakfast poatatoes). The food was delicious and we had no problems with service during our meal. We did find that the breakfast menu was quite limited though. On the other hand, Dinner was much more expensive. coming in at just under 100 dollars for two people. The menu was a bit more varied though. Once again we found our meal delicious as we ordered meatloaf and lemon pepper chicken and a couple drinks and dessert. We agreed that the price for dinner was quite high. But we had no issues with service even after opting to eat outside for dinner.
A special thanks to our servers as well for being attentive. Chloe served us for our breakfast meal and Tiffany Served us for dinner. both were very nice and welcoming and attentive. Giving the review 4 stars for the price of dinner for two.
Came here a couple of times. Place is amazing. Had Joseph as the bartender. Equally amazing. I went to Eddy V and this place is better than them. I wound take going to this place over going to Eddy V any day. High quality, a bit cheaper and walking distance from the guests staying at the Marriott hotel.
Stayed at the Grande Vista for a few days while in Orlando for a Conference.
My first morning I visited The Grill for breakfast and was greeted by friendly staff and ordered the Chicken and Waffles with a small orange juice and a tea.
The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious! The staff checked in to see if everything was ok a couple of times without being overbearing.
I grabbed the bill and added my room number so it was quick and easy.
Visited for breakfast again on the morning of my departure and ordered the same again because it was SO good. Definitely recommend!
I love that you have to do reservations here because they are all about taking care of their guests. The sliced prime rib on a patty was amazing.. we had several in our party and all the meals were great! The calamari, cheese curds and onion rings appetizers fed 7 adults. The waitresses were so caring and tentative. The special for the night was Prime rib and it was fantastic.
Honestly, I was skeptical about this place along with several others. But, once we got inside, it was very nice. The food was great! The staff were great! They even helped us with family photos! I would've given 5 stars for food, but my little cousin was complaining about the taste of the water. I didn't know what he was talking about until my glass was refilled, and I noticed it had a very weird taste. Almost sulfur like taste and smell to it for some reason, which was weird. They have a nice bar area, and the alcohol drinks tasted good. They even asked if I wanted a lime in my drink. Normally, I'm never asked that, but I hate limes in my alcoholic drink, so that was a plus. I always pay attention to how they serve alcoholic drinks because some people like me are picky. They had no issue with a short glass double shot. Matter of fact, they even asked. Some are against that, and I understand why, but at that point, it's the bartenders/servers/waitresses' responsibility to cut customers off respectfully. Anways back to the food. I ordered the sliders and was able to change which burger I wanted. Mushrooms make me nauseous, so if that's something you don't like, don't worry, they will change it for you.
