Cedars Restaurant is some of the very best Lebanese cuisine I have ever eaten. For starters, the homemade pita bread baked fresh in a wood fired oven at the back of this elegant restaurant arrived at our table warm and puffed and unbelievably delicious. We ordered the Baba Gahnoush and Grape Leaves as an appetizer, and the dishes exceeded our expectations. Everything was super fresh and made to order, that it had us cleaning the plates with that wonderful, fresh baked pita bread.
We also ordered Hummus with Meat, and the lamb was so flavorful and tender; I wish I would have ordered it as an entree. Our entree was the Shawarma Platter, and like all of the food here, it did not disappoint. There wasn't a morsel left for our server to take away.
Stuffed as we were, based on the most delicious food we just enjoyed, we knew we had to try the Knafa for dessert. The syrup was delectable, and the cheese so fresh we would have ordered a second order if we had any room left.
We received outstanding service from the entire staff, and Nour made us feel like we were part of her family.
Whenever we are in the area, we will be sure to visit Cedars Restaurant again. Cedars is such a great dining experience that one may consider moving here so they can eat at this establishment on a regular basis.
Impeccable cuisine and service, do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal at Cedars if you are even remotely close by.
The food was amazing and it was worth the price. Jessica was an amazing server she could have talked me into anything. And to the lady cooking the bread it was very delicious
As a Lebanese person, I can confirm that the food here is authentic and delicious! Great place to have Lebanese and Mediterranean food. I will definitely be back whenever I am in Orlando again.
First time going to a Lebanese restaurant and absolutely loved all the appetizers we tried. Def recommend trying it out to satisfy any Mediterranean cravings!
As tourist we found it randomly, best Libanese food i have had in a long time. Friendly service. Absolutely recommended. Picture of so empty plates speak for their own.
I decided to stop by Cedar's for a random meal. This turned out to be one of the better decisions I have made in my life. I have spent time sailing in the Mediterranean, and indulged in the food and culture while I was doing so. The meal I had at Cedar's was absolutely on par, if not better, than eating in that region! And my server, Nour, was so lovely. She was very informed on all the food and it's history. Thanks to her, this wasn't just food for my stomach, but food for my soul as well in that I learned so much from her expertise in Mediterranean cuisine and culture. I cannot wait to go back, and would frequent this establishment if I lived in Orlando.
I had an absolutely delightful experience at Cedars! The ambiance was charming, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The menu offered a fantastic variety of Middle Eastern dishes that were bursting with flavors and aromas. My wife and I were particularly impressed with the skillful preparation of each dish and the use of authentic ingredients. From the perfectly seasoned appetizers to the mouthwatering baklava, every bite was a culinary delight. We left the restaurant feeling satisfied and grateful for the wonderful dining experience. We're already looking forward to our next visit!
Food was great and authentic! A little on the pricey side for the quantity on the mezza but the entrées were good. Overall we definitely will go back. Ps. The fresh bread is amazing!
This is THE place in Orlando if you are craving international cuisine, especially of the Lebanese variety. This is as much an entertainment plays as it is a high-quality restaurant. Here you can find on most weekends, live entertainment, an engaging crowd, and great food. I will not butcher the names of the various dishes, and do them any dishonor. And they have lamb and beef in a number of forms. The hummus is fantastic, you also have great vegetarian options. The garlic sauce and hot sauce are definitely a try. Looking for wines from the region, Yep, they have them. Paruse the menu, then show up order a smattering of dishes, and be prepared to enjoy yourself.
It's virtually impossible to have totally authentic Lebanese food in North America, as the food has to be Americanized a little but Cedar's comes pretty close. A lot of options on the menu, some you don't often see in Middle Eastern restaurants here, all well prepared and presented. Service is quick and friendly, prices a little on the high side.
