We are locals visiting Vivo often (a few times every month over the last 3 years). My wife and I have had lots of GREAT nights at Vivo's!!! On Dec 8th, we visited Vivo with family. Over the next 4 nights we visited several more times. The food is always delicious with fantastic presentations!! My favorites are the Bolognese with angel hair pasta and the Sausage Ragu! The servers are excellent!! Our bartender Germany (pictured) was incredible as usual! Always energetic and happy! Tommy, Jordan, and Kira were also our bartenders over several nights. All three were excellent as they paid attention to drink levels, knew the menu, and were very attentive to all patrons. They were happy which added to the ambiance of "family welcoming you to dinner"!!! Kourtney also stopped by and said hello with her usual smile! My wife and I tell EVERYONE about Vivo!! Whether you sit at the bar or at a table, there is always great food, an inviting atmosphere, and the BEST STAFF EVER which keeps us returning time after time!! It's a direct reflection of the leadership there! Keep up the great work and we'll be back soon! Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to Everyone!
What a great Italian restaurant! Food & service, we come from French /Italian border so know good italian food & this place certainly serves up very good quality meals at not rip off prices! Well done Vivo keep it up

I’m typing this in all honesty , the last couple times I’ve been here the food has even 1 Star, this evening the food was cold and just wasn’t what I know they normally put out at first our waiter I thought was gonna be awesome , but he ended up getting smart and or hateful looking with my mother, the Manager KIRA went above and beyond to make us happy even though my moms food didn’t come out right , she was personable , and so was the waitress that replaced the gentleman we had, I mentioned to her I had wanted to try the new Vudoo donuts they just put at city walk but didn’t know when they closed then noticed they were about to close , so I got up and walked over there and there was a huge line. Not but two minutes later KIRA came over and pulled us out of line and got us in and made sure that we were not effected because of the waiters and kitchens screw ups during our meal and also talked with us for a while . SHE NEEDS TO BE IN HIGHER MANAGEMENT OF A RESTAURANT!!! I quit going to Disney because they quit caring and being personable and doing random things to make their guest experience magical and unexpected, KIRA is a 5 Star manager at this restaurant , I may have never stepped foot in that restaurant again if it was not for her . THANK YOU KIRA!!!

AMAZING food!! I stopped here for dinner . The food is absolutely delicious. They provide bread for you that is crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. Definitely a great place to go. They have a really good wine. All in all, I was extremely pleased with Vivo and would definitely go back next time I am in Orlando.
It was very good food and amazing service. The display itself was outstanding. By far the best theme park restaurant I have been to and I look forward to coming again.

Awesome food and great service. We sat at the bar and had great service. I was surprised how good the pasta was... I was expecting the normal tourist trap food. I would come back here again!

When our waiter came out, I let him know my dietary restrictions and he said he would let the kitchen know and code my dishes as an "allergy order." The menu is really misleading because it does not mention gluten-free options anywhere, but it turns out that most of the pastas can be adapted to gluten-free with gluten-free penne noodles as well as several of the entrees, salads, and other offerings.
Was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the Italian food here. The squid ink pasta which my wife had was excellent, and they do the basic spaghetti bolognese well here. Service was exceptional. They coped well with the crowds even during park closing time.
Vivo Italian Kitchen is a fantastic modern Italian dining option, conveniently located right within Citywalk Orlando. It's the perfect addition to any Orlando vacation due to the convenient location, affordable prices, great atmosphere, and accommodating staff.
Any Orlando tourist looking for a great restaurant experience to compliment a fantastic day at the parks should head over to Vivo Italian one night for dinner. Kick back and relax and treat yourself to some tasty comfort food after a long day walking around Universal's fun (yet totally exhausting!) theme parks.

Highly recommend this place, especially if you love Italian food! Great atmosphere, the restaurant is laid out very well and the decor is amazing! I love the open style kitchens where you can actually see the chefs cooking! The service was good too! Definitely recommend making reservations though, this place gets very busy very quickly! Everything was reasonably priced and the food was amazing! Proper portion sizes too so you don't feel overwhelmed. Restrooms were very clean and organized (if that's something you pay attention to). The menu has a lot to offer which is great if you have picky eaters in your group.
Overall, very satisfied with this restaurant and I will definitely be coming back!

My family had an incredible dining experience at VIVO Italian Kitchen, and we're thrilled to share our review. We were fortunate to receive exceptional service from Christine S., which made our visit truly memorable. As residents of the Emerald Coast of Florida, we're accustomed to the finest seafood, so it was a pleasant surprise to discover a restaurant on Universal Studios property offering large portions, fresh made-to-order food, and the freshest seafood right on City Walk.
During our vacation with my family, I felt compelled to write this review to spread the good news. Our little boy dreams of moving to Italy, so you can imagine his delight when he had the opportunity to converse with Christine in Italian! Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared, and we were promptly seated with a lovely window view. Despite our tight schedule for Halloween Horror Nights, Christine went the extra mile to ensure we left on time. The scratch-made sauces and the personal treatment we received truly made us feel like part of the VIVO family, not just tourists. We can't wait to return!
This is a wonderful and delicious place with beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. The appetizer, entre, and drink selections are all wonderful! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great place for a couple, family or group large and small at very reasonable prices all around.
Top notch dining experience! The food was prepared to perfection and I actually watched the chefs prepare my meal...excellent. The staff were very professional and attentive...and very friendly. The atmosphere made the experience even move enjoyable...everthing during this visit was just right...thank you! Highly recommend you give them a try when visiting Universal City Walk and parks!
My family of 5 all enjoyed our dinners here today. The service was great and the atmosphere was calm. You can have a quiet conversation with taking over loud music. My youngest even enjoyed his asparagus.
They do everything right here. From wines to the entrees to customers service to the atmosphere. Sydney,our waitress, was amazing. Very knowledgeable in the menu as well as the wines. Her attitude, service level and attentiveness are top notch. I definitely want to go back and dine there.
Came here for my friend's birthday dinner. Booked a reservation a week prior. Had to wait for parking to be free at 6 for City Walk. I had to call universal dining reservations to get a 6:15 and luckily we made it by 6:20. We sat at a nice table and the server was able to hold our cake for us in a cooler while we ate dinner. I had steak, mashed potatoes and gluten free pasta. My friend had Veal and pasta. The service was great. They even had gluten free bread. I loved being able to see the kitchen. The restrooms were nice and clean also. It wasn't super busy for a Friday but still busy enough. We only waited maybe an extra 10 minutes upon arrival. I loved they had gluten free options for me. I had my steak rare and it was amazing. I sang a quick happy birthday to my friend since they didn't do a song at the restaurant itself.

I have to say that this spot has been on the money. As a dad of 4 & 3 of 4 are super picky, vivo has not failed us.
On vacay and the wife and i popped in late for a bite and the meatball Bucatini were on point.
I decided to bring the 2 picky eaters on saturday and they both cleaned their plates.
Chicken parm, Fried calamari and chicken fingers that did Not disappoint.
I will say that if these 2 great experiences with Micheal and the other waiter( he usually waits by the bar area with a mask) were not enough , yesterday was a doozy.
My wife had a gathering planned with 18 members of her family. Sadly the spot they had fell thru so i went to Vivo and without hesitation Joanna began to try and help me. She jumped on her earpiece and was chatting away with people. Within 2 mins Ray came out and shook my hand, he said im going to do everything in my power to make this happen. A second later Deztine came iuf and they began looking at the pc and making changes. Ray said , listen come back in an hour and we will have you seated and together!!
My party got there a few min early so we were allowed to sit at the bar and begin our time together. A few ordered drinks and some just water but Bryan was funny, pleasant and kind.
This staff has been the most pleasing , most professional, most personable i have dealt with in a long time.
I travel to many states & have eaten in many places but this spot has surpassed most of them!
Giovanna the server was on point, she got all the orders down and correct for 15 of us!
The linguini w clam sauce was delish

This place is lovely inside! I made a reservation for 6:45 and was sat 5 minutes later, not long of a wait. The service was alright. Unfortunately forgot our ID’s and I believe it made our waiter a bit hesitant to serve us to the best of his abilities, he seemed to be dodging us after the mishap. As a server it made me feel quite uncomfortable.Otherwise, the fried ricotta was amazing! Definitely a must try. My boyfriend ordered the meatballs and absolutely loved them! I ordered the vegan sausage pasta with a side of pesto, as all the vegetarian/vegan options all come with the same red sauce. With the red sauce alone it’s on the bland side but amazing with the pesto! My boyfriend got the chicken pesto ravioli and was pleasantly surprised by it. Overall nice, cozy experience if you’re visiting the city walk definitely give it a try!

One of the best spots in Universal to get good food and great service.
We came down for the weekend to go to the Orlando Informer Event so we made reservations for the other nights. We actually got in from our flight a bit earlier than expected so we came by earlier than our reservations to see if we could eat earlier. I saw a long line and thought we'd absolutely still have to wait but to my surprise they checked us in and we walked maybe 20 feet away before we got a text stating our table was ready. We probably didn't have to wait as long because we said we'd be fine with an indoor high top area where I think a lot of people don't want because it's not as comfortable.
We waited a bit for our waiter Kyle to come up and take our order. He was very personable, outgoing, and very good at giving food and drink suggestions. He made our experience here from 3 stars to 4 stars!
The food was decent and my drink was very good. My salmon was a bit over cooked but of course the pasta in both of our dishes were cooked perfectly. The pana cotta was amazing!
The only truly negative thing I'd really say was I think this place is a bit over priced for the quality of the food. Although this is Universal and that's the case for every restaurant here.
