The service is best. Food is great with large portions and prices are reasonable. Love it!!!!!!!!!. I don't even know where to start.....I love everything about this place. Highly recommended.
For what it is and for what you get The Food Court rocks. Conveniently located on the corrner of 42 and Grover St right off the interstate! They have a great gyro plate and the chesse burger is real good. They have good Chinese and American food as well. Plus there's a bar and happy hour. At a gas station restaurant. Not really it's next door and its owned by the same people. But seriously, they have great affordable prices and awesome french fries too. Recomend to anyone wanting to try a new place.
Variety. I've always enjoyed the variety offered by food courts. Unfortunately, most food courts exist in places I don't like to go to such as malls and airports. This food court is located off I-80 and 42nd St and has burgers, gyros, pizza, Chinese, and Japanese menu items. The best of the large mall food court conveniently located in one restaurant. It shouldn't be hard to take a group to lunch and finding something for everyone. I walked in craving a gyro and ended up having Szechuan chicken. My co-workers went for the Philly Steak and the gyro. The Chinese food was good but the Philly looked amazing. The Philly is on the list for the next visit.
After Work. Stopped in one night after workinglate. Mrs Giantsfan had dinner earlier so we shared some Crab Rangoons...three to the order.I had the orange chicken. This ws 1j very good. A great change of place from tburger joints on the way home. The place was celan spotless almost. The kitchen ws on display so you can watch your food beig made. Not the concept..just a statement to how clean it was. This is just north ofi80 at 42nd st. Remember it as a must try if you are looking forsomethng later in the evening and you want something different
Good. I have had their gyro, general tso and eggrolls. All of them are quite good. I have trouble finding General Tso that I like as most places cant seem to get the sauce correct but The Food Court's it quite good.
The food is delicious and fresh (they have vegan plates) I love the falafel sandwich. The service is great, the owner is very friendly and has a great sense of humor. I can't say enough about their Baklava, it's the best in town.
Found this place on a Sunday afternoon when numerous other restaurants were closed. How fortunate - this Turkish food is incredible! The staff is very welcoming and the service is fast. If I lived in Omaha I would eat here weekly. Teşekkürler!
My family and I go here all the time (we are the really tall ones ☺️). The owner is incredibly nice and the food is spectacular. The gyro meat has a great flavor and ask for a side of rice or get a ‘Gyro Rice Bowl’ because the rice is buttery and rich.
This is hands down one of the best Halal Restaurants in Omaha. The owner confirmed that all the food is halal. It’s a family owned Turkish restaurant that serves mouth watering kebabs and baklava. We have tried so many different things and honestly no kebabs have disappointed us. Make sure to have baklava after having the meal with some Turkish coffee. The owner is very friendly and respectful, and we highly recommend this place in Omaha!
My first experience at Istanbul Food Court was nothing short of amazing! Thanks to my Turkish friend, I got to savor Turkish cuisine for the first time, and it exceeded all my expectations. The kebab was incredibly tasty, and even the rice was a pleasant surprise. The friendly person at the counter made the experience even better. It was not just a meal but also a fantastic opportunity to immerse myself in Turkish culture and their delicious food.
This restaurant is located across from the gas station. It says food court but it does not look like one. The interior is quite comfortable to sit in, though. When you purchase the food it is counter service.
Lamb 4 stars
Beef gyro 4 stars
Grape leaves 3.5 stars
There was a 5 star item that was lamb and beef but I can't remember the name of it.
Their desserts were excellent. The coconut one was the favorite. The baklava rendition was a great version. Sometimes I feel like there's too much honey or that the honey is too sweet in the baklava, but but in this instance.
Had lunch there for the first time. Chicken gyro was great! The gentleman at the register was very friendly and the food came out quick. Will be back next time I'm in that part of town.
The fries at Istanbul Food Court in Omaha, Nebraska, are a must-try – crispy and delicious, I almost went for seconds. While the chicken was a bit dry, overall, the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this spot for its excellent customer service and clean ambiance.
Stopped here on our way from Chicago to Denver for lunch because it was just off I-80. The food was top restaurant quality! We got Shish Kebab, it was served with a bowl of salad and white rice, all perfectly cooked and fresh. Highly recommend!
Best kebap in the Midwest! If you like to experience true Turkish food, i definitely recommend this place. The owner was very friendly and welcoming.
I tried their Adana kebap which was great. Fresh and tasty!
Their baklava was great too. Fresh and homemade.
Definitely recommend this place!
