Found myself near midtown looking for a light lunch.
My friend asked me about chili and if I knew a place that had some. Jason's Deli to the rescue. She really enjoyed the chili and sandwich and the nice dining room. Free ice cream at the end of the meal was a nice touch.
Love this place!
Salad bar is my favorite! And the sandwiches... They are the best. Need a loaf of bread to go with that sandwich anyone?
Reuben's are my pleasure today.
If you haven't tried this place before, you won't be sorry.
Clean, good customer service and great food!!
Large menu with something for everyone, no matter what their restrictions. Today I had a Cuban press sandwich ( smoked pork, ham, swiss cheese, pickle and stone ground mustard on a pressed roll). It was absolutely delicious. I also had a side salad and a bowl of broccoli cheese soup. The side salad from the salad bar was very fresh. The salad bar is usually well stocked with many options. My soup was creamy and very flavorful. Lastly, there is the free all you can eat ice cream. I just love the chocolate.
The prices here are a little high, but you get a quick quality meal in a clean place with free ice cream. I think it is well worth it.
Even though it is a chain it gives off that authentic deli feel. They have a wonderful salad bar, I'll be it expensive...my favorite item is the Santa Fe chicken sandwich with a cup of fruit accompanied by dipping sauce. Don't forget to help yourself to the free soft serve ice cream after your meal.
Surprised!. Previously I had only eaten Jason's Deli when we had it catered in at work. When I went to the actual location for lunch, I was very surprised by the wide variety of sandwiches, soups and salads available. Very tasty and affordable lunch. Also pretty quick to to get through if you need to go somewhere faster but don't want a drive-thru. Save room for the free softserve ice cream.
A Staple in the Rotation. I don't think I've ever had anything that I did not like at Jason's Deli, across many states. The menus are identical no matter where you are but always span a significant spectrum - sandwiches, pasta, salads... The food is above average, they take some time to throw in a few extra flavors to keep from becoming a simple sandwich joint.

Big salad bar and even bigger sandwhiches. And all of the free ice cream you want
Tasty and fresh... Much better value than Panera.
Huge Menu. A very nice restaurant, featuring loads of great sandwiches, at least 6 soups a day, and a great salad bar. The Muffalleta sandwiches are enormous...enough for three meals. And you can have free soft serve ice cream if you save room. An informal "come as you are" yet pleasant atmosphere adds to the experience. You order at the counter, pay for your food, and they will bring it to your table.
This is a good place to bring a large group as you can easily move tables together. Prices are moderate..in the $10 range for a typical meal.
Enormous spud. I have only been to Jason's Deli once, but it was memorable. I ordered the Pollo Mexicano baked potato last night and the tuber was - I kid you not - hot enough to cause third-degree burns and as big as a baby's head. The spud filled an entire plate and had skin sloughing off the roof of my mouth with the first bite.
I threw caution to the wind and ordered the Pollo potato instead of the Plain Jane, which was what I was initially thinking about ordering. The chicken on the Pollo was seasoned quite well. The dish could have used more tomatoes and more evenly distributed butter. I was surprised there was no sour cream on this dish. Onion and green pepper were ample for my tastes but some people might like to have more.
The one drawback to a spud this size is that the ingredients-to-potato ratio can get out of whack. I ate my fill and then went after my favorite part - the potato skin - and there was still the equivalent of a whole potatoe's worth of russet meat left on my plate.
I added a cup of seafood gumbo to my order, not realizing the Chernobyl-sized portion of spud I would be receiving. The gumbo was great - a little thinner than I've had elsewhere, but the flavor was fantastic. The soup had a nice spice kick that was not too hot but enough to get the hanky out. It had several bites of seafood (shrimp I believe) - not a ton but good enough. I would definitely order this again. A cup was enough.
I would order the baked potato again but next time I'll go with the option for a smaller portion.
Jason's Deli has good looking sandwiches and a salad bar. I may return to give those a try.
Solid place. Good meal with fresh ingredients, a large selection of sandwiches, and soups with probably the best salad bar around. The ordering process is pretty simple and the prices are reasonable. I ordered the manager’s special with a tuna sandwich on sourdough and the chili. The tuna and the chili are both top quality and come in generous portions. The food came out quickly. I am giving a 4 rating because the cashier was miserable and unfriendly. He did not say hi, greet, or smile to anyone or respond when I thanked him. I am not sure why any service business would want the first person that customers see and interact with to be unwelcoming. The lady that brought my food was pleasant, asked me if everything looked okay, and if I needed anything else.
To the owner: Sir/Ma'am, I am sure that you know it but you have amazing employees. I keep ordering difficult orders from your restaurant since the beginning of the pandemic and it has always been 100% correct, delicious, and just packaged with care. I am thoroughly impressed with this particular Jason's. I am jot taking anything away from the other locations but something about this one is just different in such a positive way. I have meant to leave a review for the longest time but just kept forgetting. Usually people only leave reviews to complain but I honestly couldn't even make one up if I had to.
To the employees: Thank you for you hard work and attention to detail. The work ethic that you show and the quick and flawless way that you all execute your tasks, shines through and it is refreshing and so appreciated. Keep up the great work and this strive for excellence can get you far in life. Psst: Ask for a raise 😉 (Sorry boss)
They make the best muffaletta in town in my opinion. It's ordered at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. The person who took the order wasn't very pleasant but the person who delivered it was. They have what looks to be a great salad bar. I was disappointed that the "house-made" chips looked and tasted like they came straight out of a Lays bag.
UPDATED BELOW: Awful experience. I asked if they still had their warm wrap trays. The woman replied, Yes we have wrap trays. I said okay. Do you have the warm wrap tray? She said we have the Sante fe tray. I said okay. Is it warm? She said I think. I said okay. I'll just get a cold wrap tray then. With Chips and salsa and hummus. I got a tiny side of hummus and whatever these are for wraps.
This place used to cater for our work often and they were delicious. Pesto chicken. Spinach wraps. Etc.
This tray looked like someone sat on it. Every single one was flat. Check the photo. Not even sure what was in them.
Super disappointed as this for was a grieving family.
Do better please.
UPDATED: The GM, Nathan, reached out to me to make things right and it was much appreciated. I understand that things do not always go as planned and their ability to correct the issue was professional and courteous.
Love this location! Great staff and the food is so yummy. Best chicken tortilla soup and look forward to the strawberry shortcake everytime.
Phenomenal! That is all that needs to be said. Although, I will say more. I had the chicken salad on a Cresent bun. My mouth is watering just writing about it. My husband had grilled cheese and tomato soup. This was also very delicious! I'm telling you, go there. You won't regret it. Wait, I want it all for myself! Bahahaha!
Love that the salad bar has so many options.
Jason's Deli is always a good option. Salad bar is really good. Also get soft serve ice cream with salad bar. They used to have chocolate chip pudding which I hope they bring back!!
Otherwise, so many sandwich, soup options. Friendly service.
$9.99 for an amazing salad bar. Super fresh and delicious. So much variety. I’ve tried several salad places in the area, very expensive and
if you build your own salad and a limited number of choices. Jason’s Deli has almost 50 items. Also the employees are always friendly.
The BEST salad bar in town!! I have been here numerous times and I am never disappointed. Sandwiches are always delicious.
