Having just moved from Phoenix AZ, I have pretty high standards for donuts (BOSA, anyone?!). My visit to Polar Donuts was my first attempt to find a new donut shop, and it will also be my last. I can't even describe how #$%$&@^$ insanely delicious their glazed donuts are. And that doesn't even begin to cover all the creative and equally delectable other donut options they have, or the warm and familiar vibe each and every person working here has.
I'm actually kind of in awe that all their reviews aren't five stars. My first thought was some of these reviews might be from a bitter, inferior donut shop competitor (okay, I know how unlikely that probably is, but FR.). My second thought was that maybe these reviewers had covid or something, and subsequently lost their ability to discern taste. Idk. I've given up trying to understand people.
I digress. Go to Polar Donuts. You'll never need another donut shop.
Always excellent with very friendly staff. Only problem was the milk. Wasn’t to expire for 3 more days but it smelled horrible. These are seriously the best donuts I’ve EVER had! And the free donut is always so warm and fresh.
As soon as I walked in I was greeted! My daughter and I received free donuts! I’ve never been here before because Daylight Donuts has had me in a chokehold for YEARS! This place right here…They have some of the BEST donuts I’ve EVER had! I’ve always been reluctant to even try a new donut shop but this one right here is now my Daylight Donuts. Thank you guys!!
Great environment. Was greeted at the door and asked if I wanted a free donut. Of course I took it who wouldn't. I ordered my donuts,they were very tasty. I didn't care much for the apple frider I purchased but maybe it's just me. But while I was in there the owner surprised me. Did you know he even gives a free donut even if you haven't purchased anything. I saw him give a street person one. Great heart,great people !!!!! That's why I gave him 5 stars 🤩
One of the best Donuts places I've ever been to let alone OKC my go to place for fresh Donuts, very friendly staff and delicious donuts.
This place is top notch! The donuts were fresh and the best I have had in OKC. However that is minor to report this family owed business all together is top notch! Everyone of the people working this morning greated me with a smile and was so happy, as a customer that just makes your day even better when you walk into an establishment and the workers are like that. Also being offered a fresh hot glazed donut was just sensational, for a first time customer here I will definitely go back.
2nd to none! Delicious donuts, stellar service, and unbeatable prices. The owner/manager was at the front to greet every patron. They saw it was my first time and gave me a donut to try for free - that solidified my decision to buy more than what I came in for! I will be coming back :)
Was disappointed at first because they did not have kolaches but I recieved a free donut when I walked in, then bought one, and a drink as well. When I got back to my truck I took a bite and was confused.. but hot damn that's a good donut! Too bad they're not close to me or I'd get fat off these!
I have been coming here since I was an elementary school kid. The owner is incredibly sweet and I still, to this day, come in and grab donuts for my mom who can't get there on her own anymore. She won't eat donuts from anywhere else haha!
We have been customers for over 20 years if that tells you how good the donuts are!
It’s a really nice shop. The owner is an old veteran who is super friendly. When you walk in they offer you a free glazed donut. Comes out hot and fresh made by hand.
