The south side Goporum has been my favorite Indian buffet for years. I now live further north, so when I heard they were opening a new location on Memorial, I was so excited! So far, I've eaten at the buffet once and had take out once. The buffet was very good, just like their first location. The staff are very accommodating too. The takeout I had was tikka masala and palek paneer. We asked for medium heat and it turned out exceptionally good. I didn't think it possible, but it was even better than those same items from the buffet.
When I ordered the takeout, it was 10 minutes late being made to go, but so delicious that I didn't mind the wait for it.
I'm so thrilled to have this restaurant within driving distance now.
First time at this location, though been south many times. Had lunch buffet. Almost everything was fresh and tasty. However I found the mushroom soup to be like watered down canned soup...thin and near zero mushrooms.
Nice atmosphere and eager-to-please staff brought breads and chicken to our table.
We'll be back, but the soup has got to be better than this!
This new Gopuram is located off of Kilpatrick turnpike and Meridian. It is clean and fresh with a pleasant ambiance. The lunch buffet is so fresh and delicious. Even though it is a buffet, they have servers coming around to keep your water glass full as well as bring hot Naan bread, tandori chicken and other entrees. They really wait on you hand and foot. I have eaten at the original Gopuram on NW 23rd for years and have always had a pleasant dining experience but this time the food seemed even better.
Be sure to check them out if you are nearby.
Gopuram restaurant offers a $15 lunch buffet that, while not the most extensive in terms of variety, impresses with its perfect taste and quality. Every item served is not only fresh but also piping hot, demonstrating their dedication to providing a delightful dining experience. The attentive service from the staff and the pleasant ambiance add to the overall charm of the restaurant. While you might find fewer choices compared to some other Indian restaurants, Gopuram compensates with its commitment to delivering exceptional flavors. For an affordable and satisfying Indian meal, Gopuram remains a solid option, showcasing the essence of Indian cuisine.
I love this so much! I've eaten at Gopuram over 30 years and it's consistently delicious. They have the best Tikka Masala and I've tried it everywhere. Be sure to try the tomato chutney. The location is a little run down but always clean and the young man that runs the buffet is so friendly. He will bring fresh Naan, chicken, whatever. Please spread the news and give them more business.
Great dinner buffet for less than $20/ person! Amazing staff and service as well!!
Been here several times and always pleasant servers, plenty of seating available and hot fresh food. The naan was charred the last time we went, but usually the naan and chicken tikka masala are delicious. The tandoori chicken and spinach pakora are also tasty. They bring fresh naan to your table and as new buffet items come available, they walk around offering them to each table before putting them on the buffet line. Very clean buffet, quiet atmosphere and plenty of parking out front.
The restaurant is primarily known for its dine-in buffet, but I prefer ordering large portions of takeout, especially their biriyanis and curries. The Hyderabad biryani is an absolute must-try; it’s bursting with flavors and always satisfies my cravings.
Now, when it comes to the buffet, I’d say it’s decent on regular days but steps up its game during the weekends, offering a wider variety of items.
One thing to note is that the prices have gone up over the years, which is a bit disappointing. However, considering it’s one of the few Indian restaurants close to I40 in OKC, I understand the pricing to some extent.
In summary, Gopuram is a reliable choice for Indian takeout in OKC. While the buffet may not always blow you away, their takeout options, especially the Hyderabad biryani, make it worth a visit. It’s the go-to spot for Indian food enthusiasts in this part of town.
Yummy. We ordered from the buffet today. They had green rice for St. Patricks, ;) It's very good. They even came around the tables with fresh hot food from the kitchen. Fantastic.
Excellent variety on the buffet and fabulous service.
The place was very quiet and cozy. It was not busy at all, service was helpful. Our meal was phenomenal not to spicy. The buffet had a nice variety to pick from...
Had lunch buffet. First time here in years. Rice was a little hard 1st batch, but they made a second batch and was fluffy. Tikka masala is the meat dish on buffet and is good. Tandoori chicken was added too. Gulab jam was warm as it should be and good.
Nothing to add, hope more people come, place was empty and closed early and has one nice guy trying to hold down the fort.

Pros: savory dishes, vegetarian/vegan options
I placed an online order for aloo ghobi $11.99, chicken curry with rice $12.99 and gulag jamoon $4.99. Everything was flavorful and piping hot! I appreciate the option to customize the spice level. The portions were very satisfying.
