Best donuts 🍩 I have ever eaten! Not a big place, small selection, but what they have is good!
Very best donuts in NYC, which is saying a lot. Very unique experience -- while enjoying your coffee and donut, look one way at the Intrepid aircraft carrier, look the other way at an automated car wash. Unforgettable.
I had the maple waffle donut and the chocolate ice cream. The chocolate ice cream was actually phenomenal. The maple waffle donut was also super good, but compared to the ice cream, underperformed. It's kind of funny that the ice cream was what was impressive since this is a DONUT shop, but nevertheless.
It's in a car wash, which is sort of strange - there's limited seating, so not really intended for big groups.
Lastly, the staff there was super nice!
Found this place by accident a few years ago, but it is home to my favorite cake donuts in the city. (Stop by Dough for the best yeast donuts.) Underwent wins points for creative location... Wedged into a car wash, auto care store... But the donuts are fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. The Maple Bacon Waffle is awesome and anything covered in chocolate is also a win.
It's hidden inside of the Westside Highway Car Wash, but their donuts are yummy! I got the Coco Raspberry Donut, and those are made fresh to order! Best donut I've ever had.....warm and soft!!!! I also enjoyed the coco raspberry powder!!!
I heard about this place from other foodie friends. Not a wide selection of Donuts, but they were good. A little gritty, but well made. Hard to find inside a car wash, but that's part of the allure. Small space. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.
Thank you to the owner for responding. You have a great and unique place. I'm a native New Yorker and go into Manhattan often. I look forward to going there again.

First, we had the Celebration Donut, which was funfetti cake, dipped in chocolate with lots of fun sprinkles, plus some cotton candy in the middle. This cake donut was amazing but also really filling. It was such a fun surprise because we saw the chocolate, and then we bit into it and saw the funfetti cake and freaked out. It seriously just puts a smile on your face. Everything should have colorful sprinkles and funfetti because it just makes you happy. Second, we had the Mulled Cider Donut. It smelled so good and tasted like straight-up Thanksgiving with a strong nutmeg flavor. All of Underwest's donuts have a consistent texture, where it sort of melts in your mouth. Sometimes we like it and sometimes we don't , but it works well with the Mulled Cider flavor. It kind of creates a little bit of film on the roof of your mouth, which is sometimes unfortunate.
The store is small and only has one bench outside the store, but the maple donut is really awesome!
Fresh doughnuts and coffee. great! Don't be thrown off by it being inside a carwash. Perfect for quick bite in the morning after getting off cruise ship!
