Some of the best Italian food I’ve had in years. The ai funghi was delectable, perfectly creamy and mushroomed, we had to eat every last drop of sauce with bread.
The lazy lasagna was similarly amazing, perfectly balanced red sauce, not too sweet, not too acidic.
No frills, good food, straightforward menu, rotating specials, attentive service. Best bocconcini north of Little Italy - and the meatballs? Tuh die forrrrr

If I could, I would give this place 6 stars. Having meals out with a baby is no easy task. This restaurant was super accommodating of our needs. Our daughter was treated with respect and was not expected to behave as a miniature adult.
The service provided by Jo and Romulo was absolutely exceptional. They catered to our every needs and wishes.
The food was also delicious. We ordered the pork Parmigiano, the braised beef ravioli, the pasta ao pesto with shrimps, and the lasagna. Everyone was pleased with their dishes. Each dish costs between 22-30 dollars.
They offered a limited cocktail list.
There were 2 bathrooms and they were very clean.
We came for a late lunch on a Thursday so there were plenty of tables available - We came without a reservation.
Came here for a cute little date night. This place is so cute and intimate. Jo (I believe that was her name) served us and she made the whole experience so much better! I had the ravioli with a side of meatballs. My date was able to customize her own pasta dish with no problem. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back!
The Food was really good! Great quality and a big portion :) It’s also really worth it to try the desserts! Our waitress was really kind, I recommend House of Lasagna!
House of Lasagna is a GEM! Service is implacable. We were there for thanksgiving dinner and Joe, I think that’s her name, was amazing. We had the choice of the regular menu and the pre fixed menu for Thanksgiving, we did one of each, as Joe suggested. Everything was amazing. Almost, they served us warm tap water, disgusting. I think it was an accident, because despite that, the food is amazing and the place is super cute! We super recommend and will be back
This place is simply amazing. The food, staff - especially Jack, and the ambiance (small Italian romantic vibes) made it worthwhile. My boyfriend loves lasagna so he ordered the lasagna bolognese (classic), which is out of this world. I am not a huge tomato sauce fan, but I really enjoyed the dish because the sauce isn’t coated over the lasagna or overpowering. It was perfect. Same goes for the appetizer meatballs - not too saucy and very tasty. In addition, we ordered the Mushroom Ravioli and Ricotta Ravioli. The Mushroom Ravioli is in a sage butter sauce and stuffed with mushrooms, while the Ricotta Ravioli is the classic version. Where else could you find mushroom ravioli in a sage butter sauce? It was exceptional, as was the classic ravioli. It’s tough to choose what I enjoyed best, but I will 100% be back in the near future.
After a difficult day trying to catch a flight out of JFK, we decided to pop into Manhattan before driving to upstate NY, the owner , Jack provided the best service and very quick while being high quality and authentic. The meatballs were just as my Noni made and the sauce was amazing. Great ambience and great location
First time here and I can't say enough good things. Great food, great staff and service. Very highly recommend! Next time we come to NYC we will definitely visit again
We ate lasagna. excellent !! . the attention of the waiters was correct. They brought us some toast with spices and olives. we drank sparkling water and iataliana beer. highly recommended. the price was a bit high. 45USD per person.
