Excellent food! This place is awesome. Best burger in town! Nice place with an excellent French atmosphere. Very good food and wines. Very good service. Wonderful food and service..... Thank you guys!
Service was slow in the lounge, but the food was great.
Right across from our hotel the Sheraton. The food was great, service exemplary but it took longer than expected to get our food. The whole family liked it.
The service was bad, yet the food was good!!!
Totally recommend. After a long day and not sure where to go, we walked across the street as the easiest choice to Rosie O'Grady's. I had the French Onion soup. It was good, nothing spectacular, but I'd get it again. Then I got the Lobster Ravioli. Oh. My. Goodness. It was so delicious. I've been thinking about it all day and I'm aware of how weird that is.
Service was very good. I only got water and I must have had my glass refilled 7 times, I LOVE that.
The only bad thing I can say is that no one that works there realizes how small the spaces are between tables. The host came over and had my boyfriend had food, the hosts butt would have been IN his dinner,. That's just uneasy, keep your rear-end away from my dinner table! That happened like 3-4 times. Weird, right?
Other than that, I cant wait to go back there again.
Wonderful, friendly service and great food. Diners chose the lamb shank, lobster ravioli and seafood linguine. All were good but highest marks go to the lamb. Served on the bone, it's moist, tender and full of flavor. The linguine was served in a wonderful tomatoe sauce perfectly flavored with a strong seafood stock. The pasta and shellfish were perfectly cooked. We started with a crabcake appetizer that was darn near perfect. We'll definitely return.
Yum!. Love the french onion soup & caesar salad! The bar is relaxed, but a fun place to go to unwind and meet new people.
Sonja and dennis co tyrone. I dont normally comment on my trips away but my god what a friendly place! loved it! we stayed in the novotel just around the corner,(as the irish would say) from 1st-7th april 2010. we stayed in nyc for 6 nights and spent most of our time in rosie o'gradys, talk about feeling at home, it was amazing. now i'm not great at remembering names(especially when i've had a few) but there was mich, bald,(sorry mich) irish guy great personality and nothing was a bother. the irish guy with the mustache who has a labrador dog, he was fantasic, very helpful and turns out he has friends in cookstown, not far from where we live, small world isn't? the short haired irish lassie who helped me with a telephone booking for a restaurant (bourbon st, restaurant row) was so accommodating and really went out of her way to help us. i fully recommend this as a really cheap and good 'ol irish friendly joint, without the sawdust! if any of you guys that i have mentioned get the chance to read this, thanks for making our stay in new york so special and would there be any chance you can come home and bar tend our local watering hole.
I know Rosie O’Grady’s is what many may call a tourist place but I am a tourist and we had an awesome time here. The wine is very reasonable for the brands they feature. The grilled chicken salad was very good and and too large for my wife to finish. The service was friendly and spot on. Best of all, they have a friendly vibe about the place. Very pleasant and a fun place to be. Will definitely return.
It's a spacious restaurant right next to the Times Square. I don't think reservations are necessary for 1-2 people, but better get one for a bigger group. Delicious food! I had French onion soup and Norwegian salmon entree. The service was great as well.
Rosie O'Grady's is one of our all-time favorite New York City pubs. The restaurant is large and the bar area is fantastic. Have visited here dozens of times over the years and never had a bad experience with the food or service, and this includes a couple of private parties attended. Rosie's is a must visit place if you're into good pub food and atmosphere.
After walking around for 4 hours, needed someplace to wet our parched throats and fill our empty stomachs. Found our way to Rosie O'Grady's for a pre-birthday celebration of my 60 years on this earth. We did not have a reservation but the host was able to find us a table in a comfortable location. The place is warm, inviting and smelled great. We had a medium-well Porterhouse steak w/onions and mushrooms, mashed potatoes and gravy. Served with an iced cold draft of Blue Moon and an Old Fashion. To say we were happy and fulfilled would be an understatement. Our attendant was very accommodating, friendly, and attentive. We will go back again...Soon!
Very nice spot to dine near Sheraton Times Square. Excellent service! Max was our server and she was courteous, friendly and had great timing. Enjoyed their Restaurant Week prix fixe menu. By far the beet salad and the crème brûlée were the highlights of the meal!
My wife and I were staying at the Hilton Club Central at 5th Avenue. We were joined by my brother and sister and we're looking for a good place for dinner. I chose to surprise my wife and walked to 52nd and 7th Avenue (past Broadway) and take her to her favorite restaurant in NYC. Because it was Veterans Day eve, it was more crowded than usual. Nonetheless, our wait was less than 15 minutes. They gave us a table for four and we all had and enjoyable dinner with no complaints! The food was well-prepared and the service was very good. We had French Onion soup and a house salad. We ate the Lemon Sole with rice pilaf and asparagus and the North Atlantic Salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus plus Maryland Crab Cakes with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My wife, my brother, and my sister were all very pleased as was I. A bit over my budget, but worth it. The Service was excellent.
This place has a family friendly section and a pub (we we to the restaurant)
I've had Shepherds pie and it was one of the best I've tried. My dear had beef tips and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Chicken parm was good as well.
Staff was amazing! (not just out waiter)
We are seriously tempted to return back here for dinner, even tho we have very limited vacation time and want to try as much as possible.
We stopped here after a show at Radio City Music Hall, a quick few blocks walk. Friendly and attentive staff. The beef sliders were delicious! Perfectly cooked and juicy. The texture on the sweet potato fries was awesome. Enjoyable people watching on the tight patio.
An excellent dining experience. Food tastes fresh and delicious, and serving sizes are well portioned. Ambience is nice and the staff were very friendly, fast, and attentive. The salmon tastes great, as does the fried calamari. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good seafood or steak dish!
Had an amazing experience for NYE in time's square thanks to this pub. I bought a ticket for their NYE event, I was a solo traveller and chose to sit at the bar. It was so much fun, met some lovely people, drinks flowed throughout the night and the food was great! The best part was getting to step on the street before midnight to watch the ball drop. 100% recommended if spending NYE in NYC is on your bucket list👌🏽🥳🥂
