Delicious burgers. Fries hit the spot too. Free refills. I had a little wait for the food cause it was made on the spot. It has an upstairs dining room with a TV and soda fountain for your free refills. Bathrooms are also upstairs. No complaints at all. Food was delicious and service was great. One spot I'll be hitting up in the near future.
The Original Single Smashburger was quite good, but maybe my expectations were too high. I thought a smashburger was going to be some sort of new burger experience, but it tasted sorta like a Wendy's single. My son really enjoyed his chicken strips, though. There were a range of other brisket and chicken burgers that may have been really good. Maybe I'll have to try one of those.
Ordered the cheeseburger kids meal for the little one and the portions were generous and the burger was smashing. The service was good, dining area was clean (2nd floor), however was there ketchups were all almost (odd). The bathrooms were clean too and there even a few TVs in the dining area. Try the tots!!
I took out the food cos it's already late night, almost 10pm. The burger was ok..but the potato tots not fresh and crispy, i think its reheat.
The burgers were okay, but very greasy. Would recommend if you're willing to try something different.

I've actually been wanting to try Smashburger for quite awhile now so was thrilled to get to try through this Yelp Elite event. Arrived around noon yesterday and found their marquee sign really awesome. There were a few people ahead of us but it was a very quick wait and the one who took my order was very nice, quick and really welcoming. She quickly checked my list from the list of Yelp Elites attending and also threw in recommendations. I was also in dire need of coffee so I asked my husband to add that to his order. I went for the Double Bacon Smash Burger without tomato, Smash Fries and Vanilla shake. While my husband ordered the Double BBQ Bacon Cheddar burger and Salted Caramel Shake.
We decided to dine in and our vaccine cards were asked to be presented which we're happy, Covid-19 protocols and safety in mind, went upstairs and actually noticed how clean the whole place is. Really liked that. We got one of the first 2 tables closest to the stairs and saw that there were more people coming in, the place was getting packed, always a good sign that the food is good.
Our burgers were served and wow, it already looked so good. First off, their burger patties are amazing, so good! The bacon perfectly cooked and not soggy and the bread went really well with the whole thing. I'm not a big fan of the fries, it was too oily unfortunately, but maybe that's the difference between the Smash and the regular fries, comes down to preference. My vanilla shake was really good too. I was leaning on getting the coffee shake but had coffee bought for me by my husband so I decided against it. As for my husband's order, I took a bite and my goodness, probably the best BBQ burger that I've had in my life. His Salted Caramel shake was also good but just a little bit lacking in flavor.
Overall verdict, as delicious as other 'better burger places' here and we'd be more than happy to come back anytime. Thanks so much Katey, for such a fantastic experience!

If you're looking for a delicious and juicy burger in downtown New York, look no further than Smashburger! This was my 1st time to a Smashburger locations. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent.
I recently had the opportunity to try the Burger, and it was absolutely amazing! The burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also tried the Smash Fries, which were crispy and delicious.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Smashburger in downtown New York. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was casual and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great burger in downtown New York!

I stopped by here for lunch with some friends after a particularly stressful day. This was my first time going to Smashburger in the city. The restaurant was spacious and had ample seating. The first floor had kitchen and seating was on the second floor. They have an elevator and two clean unisex bathrooms on the second floor.
When ordering there was some confusion and even when I got my order. However, they were minor mishaps such as, bagging the wrong item to go.
I ordered the salted caramel milkshake. It was creamy and delicious. It wasn't super sweet and it was vanilla milkshake with notes of caramel. I got a crispy chicken sandwich with smash fries. The chicken was tender and tasty. The addition of avocado made it super delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection.
I got the smash tots and the chicken tender kids meal to go. The smash tots were tasty but, I enjoyed the fries mostly. The tenders were yummy and I wished this was a part of the regular menu. Sadly, they forgot the other parts (the regular fries and drink) of the kids meal and only gave me the tenders.
It was a definitely a delicious lunch and I can't wait to come back more sandwiches!
Great burger quality! Possibility to take the fountain soda and restroom available. A stone's throw from times square very cheap price. The only negative note were the fries, perhaps too greasy with oil.
