This is a great location, we got walk in on Sunday late afternoon . The vibe was very nice and vibrant. They have a great cocktail menu. Tried their matcha cocktail and it was surprisingly good. Their loaded nachos are one of the signature dishes and it was worth it. The portion was huge for two people. Couldn't finish it, and couldn't eat anything else after that except dessert. Had ordered raspberry pie and the portion was very small comparing the price of 9$ it was literally a bite size. Would definitely go back to try other options but they need to amp up their dessert game for sure. One less star only because of desserts.
One of the best, and cleanest (for ingredients), vegan Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been too.. and definitely the best one in NYC! So so soooo good!!!!
Starters - gotta get the beet and pumpkin empanada. Its like a Mexican samosa.. depending on season they might substitute the pumpkin with sweet potato.. and its a no brainer (so good!)
Best thing we had were the brunch tacos. HOLY MOLY! SOOOOO GOOD! Imagine brunchy eggs + chorizo + black beans + chipotle + onions and more.. in a brekkie burrito.. buts its all vegan and in a taco.. would have doubled up here and skipped the Chipotle Sweet Potato tacos
.. which btw, can totally skip over Chipotle Sweet Potato tacos.. found them way underwhelming
Mezcal Mushroom tacos hit the spot, recommend these for sure

Btw service rocked too.. and the interior of the LES location was so beautiful and chill (lush too!)

Delicious Mexican food. I love that the menu is completely vegan. The street corn was amazing! The portion sizes are large, but try and save room for the churros.
Food and service were great. I’m not vegan, but there was plenty on the menu that was fantastic for anyone. Buffalo flower margaritas and sweet potato gorditas were really good. Watermelon margarita was lovely. The espresso martini was a little too strong for me, but I’m sure was great.
Delicious Plant Based Mexican Food in Chinatown! The nachos were amazing and the presentation of everything was beautiful. I also have the ceviche which was good, wouldn’t order again. My friend had the kale pancakes and enjoyed them too. The salsa trio added nice flavor to our dishes and I enjoyed my spicy pineapple margarita! Great service and atmosphere. I hope I get to visit again before my flight so I can try something else.
Y’all. Then nachos w/ guacamole was amazing! The people there were super nice. I would advise to get that for yourself or sharing it with someone else. I thought I would finish it along with some sweet potato tacos I ordered but it was too much. Definitely a meal in itself.
ordered takeout from Jajaja Mexicano LES—not knowing it was a plant-based restaurant. and guess what? didn’t even notice a difference in the food being meatless. picked up an order of nachos—Jajaja’s plant-based chorizo, refried beans, habanero queso, salsa verde, and sour cream. the nachos were so damn good! the chips were crunchy, layers of flavors and textures in the beans, queso, sour cream. the “chorizo” crumble was season well and had this really savory almost fatty satisfying aftertaste. it’s a healthy serving for two—and an ample serving for just one. don’t sleep on the nachos—they are very good. the pickup was fast and easy—my food was packed neatly for travel home. the staff were friendly and upbeat. who knew going green could be so tasty!
Cute lil place but it is vegan so good enough for that? I found the tacos underwhelming overall however their nachos were great and so was their hot sauce!

The marketing team has done a great job of pushing ratings but I have had Berger veg/vegan food in regular Mexican restaurants.

Super cool restaurant! I was surprised to learn that the whole menu is vegan. I really enjoyed my nachos, drink, and chips & dip. Our waitress was also very kind and friendly. I also appreciated that they had the outdoor patio
