Love Kim Amy’s there food is great, but have to say I moved out of town and don’t get to go as often . Hopefully their food is still great. I will try to and go this time in.
Slightly underwhelmed. Nice folks & decent food but the
Com thit noung and noc maum were bland/weak
Maybe they are trying to please the American palate
Must be ....with a 96% score :shrugs:
This place definitely isn't as good as the old Kim Anh on Bullard in the East but
Fret not, even middle of the road Vietnamese food is better that half the places out there
Best pho in the area. Kim Anh's is hands down the best pho in Jefferson Parish. It is plentiful of green onion and the use of the chicken is absorbent. The spring rolls are packed with meat of your choice and stuffed full of vermicelli noodles.
First visit to Kim Anh's Noodle House. I had never tried Vietnamese Food and was a bit hesitant. I was impressed with how clean the restaurant was when we walked in. We were greeted right away. We started with Spring Rolls and they were delicious-it was obvious the ingredients were very fresh. I got the Chicken Cashew Nut for my entree and I really enjoyed it. The presentation was nice and I was wowed by the freshness of the meal. Service was excellent. I highly recommend eating at Kim Anh's Noodle House!
Amazing!!!. I just recently moved to Harahan, and this is probably the best thing here. This place is absolutely delicious!! I've eaten here about 3 or 4 times and I have never gotten bad service, or something I didn't like. The crab and asparagus soup is my favorite. The eggrolls are also amazing. The guys that work there are VERY friendly and polite. Love this place. I will probably eat here 2/3 times a week lol. That's how good it is!
Worth the trip...for real.. Wherever you are right now, just stop. Go to Kim Anh's and get some dang pho. The portions are HUGE. I ate off one large bowl for 3 meals. Don't be afraid of the sugar cane wrapped in shrimp paste, it's delicious. Just don't do what I did. Apparently you're not supposed to actually eat the sugar cane, just the delicious shrimp paste around it. Oops. Still awesome though!
Another good VN joint.. New Orleans is blessed with lots of good Vietnamese restaurants. If you are out in Harahan, this is a good place to go.
The Pho and Bun are as good as most places -- but I have been getting the "birds nest" -- it is on the menu as "crispy noodles"-- it is (not greasy) deep fried noodles with sauce veges and meats. As you eat it the sauce softens the noodles, so you get a variety of noodle textures as you eat it. It is a beautiful dish for under 10 bucks.
I also like the pho type soup that is pork based.
And the "beef stew" ( i get it with rice noodles, and it is more like a soup) is just plain delicious. I just regret I keep forgetting to ask for a big bowl.
Very busy at lunch (VN in Harahan, whodathoughtit?), I like to go mid-afternoon.
Great Noodle House!. This was my first time visiting and I loved it! The restaurant is not fancy, but the food was great!
After reading other reviews I had to try the Spring Rolls (w/ pork) and they were delicious.
I also tried the Bun Heo Nuong and that was great...need to go back to try more things off the menu
Great noodle in the wall. This is a rock solid noodle house! The food was WOW!!! WOW because it tasted great and was inexpensive. We started with steak spring rolls followed by two orders of Bun 2 Mon with (steak & grilled shrimp), (chicken & grilled shrimp), and Com Suon (rice with pork chops). No beer or wine was a downer as was the simple ambiance. I ordered the lemonade which was good but warm.
So good. After hearing so many good things about this place, finally tried it last night and WOW. This was my first time having Vietnamese food and I think I am hooked now. The combination Pho was awesome. The flavor of the broth was so rich and yummy. The beef and shrimp spring rolls were also very, very good. I can't wait to eat my leftover Pho for lunch today.
My first time and i found the the food to be excellent! Can't wait to get back there to try something new.
Kim Anh's is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. The food is consistently good. The staff is friendly and the owner is amazing. My three sons (que the music (lol)) and I eat at this establishment frequently. We have become friends with the owner. We love love love their food.
First time there today. Delicious! Can’t wait to go back. Good value, fresh, clean, lots of variety. Highly recommend.
Update March 2022 - been back at least 6 or more times, one of my favorite places to eat. It’s the first place I suggest if I’m in the area.
Super fresh food , super friendly stuff!! Thank you so much !!! I will brag about you to everyone 😃
Tasty traditional Vietnamese. Had to go after I ended up at a fusion style place that just didn't hit the spot with their spring roll interpretation. There's Chinese style dishes too, but not what I get there.
Absolutely incredible!!!! My boyfriend and I drive all over town trying Vietnamese restaurants and this place is the best!!! I got a shrimp bahn mi, he got combination pho. We were very pleased. He said the pho broth is especially awesome! Will drive across town to come here, highly advise trying this place out!!!
