Was in town visiting, and our Uber driver and a few others told us to make sure we ate the original Popeyes bc it's quite different. They made our order fresh, so we had to wait 12 minutes, but the food was absolutely amazing! It tastes nothing like the Popeyes in GA. It was very flavorful and fresh. I will NEVER eat Popeyes unless I'm in New Orleans.
The people are mostly very sweet who work here. The food is almost always fresh because they are so busy tge foods cooked often. But because they are so busy you need to double check your bag before you leave. They have no problem replacing or giving you something they got wrong or forgot. Again, it's ALWAYS BUSY so be prepared to be patient and be nice!

Staff were friendly, with the southern hospitality. Fast and efficient service, chicken were served fresh and consistent. Nil complaints to be said although the sweet tea was way tooooo sweet. I can still tast the sugar in my mouth!
Food was fresh and hot. Dining area was messy and unattended. Had to clean the tables ourselves and remove others trash.
This location was recommended to us and it didn’t disappoint. The chicken was fresh and the biscuits were super soft. I recommend trying this location over the one on canal street for us Tourists.
Fast service! I got my food within two minutes during lunch time so I can’t be mad at that at all! The food was fresh, hot, and good! No drive thru so you have to get out unfortunately. Customer service was decent…nothing out of the ordinary for a fast food joint.
The chicken is excellent. I need to get into the habit of checking my order before pulling off. They never (not an exaggeration) seem to get my order right.
The service and speed in which we received our order here was actually pretty good. And we visited on New Year’s Eve. The staff were on it and didn’t have guests waiting the usual long time most Popeyes are notorious for. Taste was good as always. Lobby was being cleaned and attended to as well.
Met my best friend here and shared fantastic food with friendly atmosphere 😃
Being from Houston, this is the best Popeyes that I have ever visited. Customer service on point. Food on point atmosphere on point, time on point. THANK YOU ALL FOE FOR THIS SERVICE
