I ate lunch here for the first time and not familiar with the ordering system. I figure I order a pita sandwich and they would put it together for me. Nope. You tell them what you want which is good. I ordered a gyro, chips and drink. All under $10. Added onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and tsatski. The gyro meet was hot which I like along with the other cold ingredients. The pita bread is great. Not thick or too thin it tears apart. The staff were nice and friendly. This wasn't the best gyro I had but it was still good and will be back again. If I could recommend a better sandwich suggestion, I prefer the toppings to be sliced rather than in chunks.
You know, its hard to find food that is healthy, cheap AND fast. Pita pit has managed this, with vegetarian wraps for less than $7 in New Orleans. I got the spicy black bean, which was delicious. Highly recommend, and they deliver too!
Pita Pit is one of the few places about which I often think "I could eat here every day". I can go in and get a pita with a good amount of meat and a ton of veggies, spinach, hummus, black beans avocado; its just a very healthy and complete meal. One of our favorite meals to get after a good workout; get double meat if you need a little extra protein. Also, the pita is the perfect size; sometimes after I eat at a place like chipotle I feel stuffed to the point of feeling sick. At Pita Pit, its always just the right amount. Its also just the right price for a broke grad student like me, although I expect I'll still be coming here long after I graduate. 5 stars!

Huge variety of inexpensive and delicious pitas. Their smoothies are also very good. I got my food delivered uptown and it came very quickly
This is my preferred uptown late night fast food option. Great menu. Relatively healthy cuz it's not fried. Each sandwich is made to order. Delivery available.
I went in the late afternoon where there weren't many people in there. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious! I got a salad in lieu of a sandwich.
I love the food, but this place has the dinkiest parking lot I have ever seen. Save your sanity and your car doors - park on the street and walk!!
Come here all the time and have gotten to know some of the staff well. Food is always good especially for the price, open late on the weekends.

This is like a modern day Subway, its really cheap and good. The food is of well quality and the employees were sweet.
