Loved this cute cafe. We had lunch here and both ate hand pies which were delicious! We also had cookies and bought baked goods for breakfast the next day. All of it was awesome!
Food was wonderful, everything was clean, but the service was outstanding!
There were even a few gluten free options (did not discuss if they were celiac safe, as my husband was not with us.) The chocolate coconut bear claw was so light and flaky my daughter ate it in layers. Definitely worth a stop for tasty treats or a meal!
This place is amazing! I found Gracious Bakery after an aerial class at Crescent City Aerial Arts nearby. The bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with pesto is to die for. The banana nut bread is so moist (sorry, I know that’s a gross word lol). I just got a blueberry cream cheese turnover to-go so I’ll have to update on how that is. The iced caramel latte is also delicious! Shanice is so kind and welcoming. We come back most of the time just to see her! Gracious also appears to be LGBTQ+ friendly with a NOLA pride flag inside.
None of the bakery items I tried was overly sweet at the Gracious Bakery and Cafe. The Salted Caramel Cupcake was one of the best cupcakes I've ever tasted. The Almond Croissant was delicious.
I've been wanting to get here for a while since I've heard good things. Went today and found a surprisingly busy cafe. I go for the pastry and found a solid selection with a few interesting twists like the guava/cream cheese turnover. The chocolate croissant with carmel filling was really delicious. Lots of options for more meal oriented pastries. They were out of the brew I wanted so I had to go with another, however I don't expect the world to quit turning for that. I'll certainly go back if I'm in the area...
Gracious is a lunchtime savior next to Xavier. The patisserie is hard to turn down when you're supposed to be choosing your lunch. Great coffee and very consistently friendly service, especially Allison.
This bakery is amazing! Ladies behind the counter were really friendly! The croissants are soo flakey and tasty lol My favorite was the Almond Croissant!
Found out about this place from my manager so I went with a coworker to pick up some lunch. Everything we tried was so good the Ham & Cheese croissant, the Curry Lentil hot pie, the Pesto Parm cruffin. The ladies that run the place are great as well. Happy to add it to my list of favs near work!
The smashed chickpea sandwich is in the top 5 sandwiches I've ever eaten. The chickpea and dill combo was delicious, the bread had a crunch on the outside and was soft inside. The flavors combined magnificently. I only wish I'd had a chance to try some of the desserts!
BEST BAKERY IN TOWN!!! I’ve been going there a couple times a week since I found them. My favorite things: morning bun 😭, curry lentil puff, banana bread is my kids absolute fav, ginger cookies are insane, breakfast sandwich is like $6 but tastes like a million bucks, and their chicken pot pie is incredible.. my dad and husband get so excited every time I bring them one.
Haven’t tried everything yet but I’m working on it!!! A+++++
