Roast Beef on Muffelletta is a Winner. DiMartino's roast beef on muffelletta is a winner and their onion strings are second to none. I'd drop in weekly if they served a half, a single sized onion rings, and let you leave for $10 cause ShortStop on Transcontinental does that with a bigger po-boy.
Its ok. Service pitiful. The food is mediocre. I've been twice. The Roast Beef is good as long as you eat it while it's still hot. They get a five.
Their signature sandwich -- the muffelletta -- was OK, but disappointing. The meat was very thin and included two slices of something akin to bologna! The bread was different but OK, and olive salad very good.
Good New Orleans sandwich selection. Tasty and reasonably priced. Décor leaves a little to be desired.
Mmmm...Tasty. Tried the muffuletta at the 2nd Annual New Orlean's Po-Boy festival. Not a bad sandwich. This is served on a long po-boy style roll instead of the traditional roll. Not as good as Central Grocery because of the bread and the lack of olive oil that Central Market soaks their bread in. Still not a bad sandwich. I'd get it again, but still prefer Central Grocery.
Most places that serve muffelatas have one size and you can order a whole, half or quarter. Here you have small and large. I got the small and it was easily enough for two people. The large must be crazy! Olive mix was good and the bread was perfect. A little crispy and soft in the middle. I had a side of red beans and rice, which were really good ni would return just for that. Staff was nice and very friendly.
We had exceptional service especially for a counter service restaurant. Eggplant sticks came out hot, crispy, piled high, and delicious with the best marinara I’ve had in a long time. I’m a huge fan of muffalatas and order one wherever I find one and this was the BEST I’ve ever had. We will absolutely be back any time we’re in NoLa!!
Delicious! I had no idea what a Muffuletta was before ordering but I was very impressed with the flavor of the olive dressing and the bread. The small was enough for two meals so they offer very generous portions.
Good shout out to the staff here. They were very pleasant, and clearly take their jobs seriously with some pride! Incredible muffuletta here that is large enough for 2 people to share. Would love to return when back in NOLA.
Fast friendly service. Open kitchen, clean and efficient. First time I've had a Muffellleta: got the 6" small round, and if was HUGE. So many olives! Salty savoury. Worth a try.
ATM & slot machines in store. Glass bottle root beers, or fountain drinks. Beer also available.
Great shrimp poboy, they use traditional Italian bread & the shrimp were fresh with perfectly seasoned breading. Amazing customer service, everyone was super friendly & answered questions on menu items. The place was very clean and it was easy to park. Can't wait to go back!
Excellent! Muffuletta was fresh, and packed. The Roast beef po’boy was amazing. Definitely recommend fried eggplant! All seasoned to perfection. The staff was friendly. They do need a new sign in front, without google I wouldn’t know it was there.
