We could not be more impressed than we were with The Chop House. The steaks and salads were great and well prepared. The temperature of our steaks were perfect. Our server was spot on and super friendly. We really liked the wide variety of live music, not too loud and very entertaining. This will be a new favorite of ours.
A Delmonico never tasted this good in New York City! The chop house Cajun style Ribeye is so flavorful and tender that 12 0z of delicate beef will melt in your mouth! The Stone Crab is a catch if you believe there will be room for both. The ring on the meal is the breaded crisp onion that subtle sets off the Cajun seasonings making for a perfect meal. The key lime pie will take the biter sweet to the streets of New Orleans and the post drink entertainment in the nearby French Quarter!
Rarely do I come to a restaurant and have every expectation exceeded. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was beyond flavorful and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy and personable. My cocktail was fantastic. The service was truly impeccable. The icing on the cake was the artist playing piano. They we’re absolutely wonderful!!

Worth every dollar spent
The food here was great! The shrimp were humongous and so were the steak fries. The Redfish Amandine was so delicious. I was very happy with my meal and will return on my next trip.
My husband took me to the Chop House for my birthday. The food was great. We began with the Lobster bisque, which was very good. We both ordered the filet mignon with sides. These melted in our mouths like butter. The atmosphere was romantic, while we were serenaded by a live piano. Our waiter was also very attentive.
Beautiful Establishment! The ambiance and lighting is nice. Live piano player near bar area makes it extra elegant. We had a 8pm reservation arrived about five minutes early but had to wait. Had a dirty martini at the bar and listened to pianist. Once seated the service was superb. Very quick personal and professional. We ordered the house and Caesar salad. My husband and I both had the Delmonico with asparagus. I added the fried lobster tail! Everything and I MEAN EVERYTHING was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Our waiter was great and attentive. Overall this was a great choice for our last meal in New Orleans. Please check them out, it's worth every dime! Oh and ordered the NY style cheesecake with strawberries to go, was a great night cap.
Beautiful restaurant with even better food. 10/10. Live musician was a plus and we enjoyed our evening. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had! It was a little cramped and the tables were close together that is why I would give the atmosphere 4/5 stars.
5 Star!!! The food was phenomenal, service was outstanding!! Best steak & lobster we have ever had, salad, sides, appetizers were all delicious!! As busy as it was do to Essence weekend, the staff blew us sway, truly made us feel like royalty!! No long wait for food. It was a beautiful romantic dinner with my husband. Thank you CHOPHOUSE!!
This was a great experience. From the music and drinks at the bar to the amazing cuisine and service, everything was amazing.
