Corner Pub Midtown

Fantastic! The best sports bar in Nashville, and Nashville is the Sahara Desert of sports bars. Hell even Buffalo Wild Wings is scared to open stores here. OK, I don’t know who these mooks are writing these bad reviews. Hello you Vandy twit, get over yourself, this place is the shiznit! The only downside of the Corner Pub is the seating at the bar, maybe 10 stools but the bartenders are great, busy but great. I counted 9 flat screens in the bar area, including 5 50” plasmas. Good job! The separate dining area has several more flat screens but who cares, this is a bar. Its at the end of Broadway by Vanderbilt so you will bump into a few Muffys and Biffs and then some Liebnizes and Schopenhauers thrown in for good measure. You wont care when you dive into the menu, this place has GREAT food. OK, service may be a little spotty but that’s usually because the damn place is packed to the rafters with people. Anyway, the wings are the big deal here (actually chicken nuggets). On the menu you will find your basic Level 1 heat, that’s enough to send most people over to Baptist Hospital for a heat stroke. But then there is a special menu for chicken wings with 5 varying degrees of Hell that incorporate habaneros and ghost peppers. You’ll have to sign a waiver if you want to order off this menu. I had Level 3 (think I’m a badass) and if somebody had just shot me they would have been doing me a favor. OMG that was HOT HOT HOT! Funny though, the next day I was craving the things again. Anyway, this place is great. Don’t listen to these bad reviews, these people are just spoiled. BTW, for all you old Nashvillians, this is the same location that the ultra-popular Granite Falls was located in. Plenty of parking, most people walk over.
