Millennium Maxwell House Hotel

This is just one of those “you get what you pay for” kinda situations. There is a solid mix of people here, but seems most of the people staying are looking to spend a night on broadway if you know what I mean. College aged kids mainly. Close to downtown, and fast drive. Shuttle service is great and the woman driving was so nice and fun. The carpets in the room should just be replaced I don’t think cleaning will do anything to help. Bathrooms are run down, but not the worst I’ve seen especially for the price of this room. Beds are shockingly very comfortable. With some upgrades this would be a nice place to stay. I would give 3.5 stars if possible

Great location close to airport. Front desk staff Alexus was very helpful and personable. Rooms clean and spacious. They also offer a free Shuttle service to downtown Nashville! Would stay again in future.

I enjoyed my stay, started a little rocky, but the manager upgraded me twice, the first room hadn't been cleaned, the second room was recently updated with flooring and amenities including free Netflix, fresh flowers and an upgraded coffee maker as well as goodies snacks. Unfortunately I was asked to leave that room as they had another guest. The manager and staff gave me another room (suite)with two levels, including spiraled stair case, an lounge area, and a jacuzzi tub. Basically two rooms. Two levels, full bath, half bath, wet bar. Double views. They also said. Breakfast on us. Feeling good.

The room was great for the price, salt water pool was absolutely amazing, shuttle service to 1030pm awesome. We were overcharged by the bartender especially after waiting ten minutes to tell us she would have to change a keg and it would be awhile longer, she didn't seem to really have any bar knowledge and definitely wasn't busy as there was only one other couple in the place with us. Will definitely be our first choice if we're back in the area again tho

UPDATE: JULY 17, 2023 This morning, I expressed my appreciation to the service desk at checkout and received unexpected news that corporate would be visiting the hotel today. Their visit holds significant importance as they will be determining the future plans for the property. I sincerely hope that they choose to invest in this exceptional historic gem, which is already blessed with a team of extraordinary individuals. It is the dedicated staff that truly embodies the heart and soul of this hotel. ____________________ July 16, 2023 It's truly disappointing that a hotel with such a beautiful lobby and convenient location falls short in the maintenance and cleanliness department. The rooms were consistently unclean, leaving a lot to be desired. Furthermore, it was frustrating having to request towels during our stay. The lack of soundproofing in the walls was a significant issue, as we could hear everything from neighboring rooms and the hallway, causing disturbances during our rest. The TV never did work properly. When we called the desk about the door lock malfunctioning, the problem was fixed immediately by maintenance. The breakfast buffet restaurant is only open Wednesday-Sundays. While the staff members were AWESOME, it's clear that the corporate team needs to provide them with better resources to ensure a more enjoyable and comfortable experience for guests. Overall, I hope improvements are made to elevate the hotel's standards and address the mentioned concerns.
