Had a delicious meal on our last night in Nashville! My mom and I sat at the bar table and it was a great spot. Bartenders were very nice and attentive. They gave great recommendations as well. Everything was phenomenal. Love all the locally sourced ingredients. The vegetable plate was the standout for sure. Also, the building that the restaurant is in is gorgeous.
I wish we would've discovered Husk sooner. It's soooo good. We came for my birthday dinner this year and had a fantastic experience.
We had the biscuits to start. They're buttery and cheddar flavored. Delicious. Then we had the baby back ribs which were phenomenal. I'd eat a whole rack as my meal if I could. For entrees, we ordered the beef as well as the shrimp and grits. Both solid choices.
The atmosphere was nice as well. Service was wonderful. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful place, everything was so good. From the cheddar biscuit, the pickled fried chicken and beef that just melts in your mouth. Of course it's Nashville so you will always have some trouble finding parking. Place is easy to find and our server Brook was so kind , professional and hospitable.
Didn’t make a reservation ahead of time, so we sat down at the bar and had amazing experience. Bartenders served us well and gave some local recommendations. Food was incredible, cocktails too.. but you have to try their whisky collection.
Came here since TripAdvisor told me that I had to try this place out while we were in Nashville! The place is easy to miss - it looks like someone's home.
Good:
- We were treated very well by the staff! Very friendly folks
- The food was all great - the memorable ones for me were the southern veggie platter which contained so many savory veggies and the fried chicken was surprisingly good 4/5
- I liked the shrimp and grits here, but I've had better 3/5
- The pork chop was super juicy and huge portion sizes - 4/5
- Biscuits were amazing and buttery 5/5
- Ham and bread was simple but tasty 5/5
- Since we had a birthday boy, they brought a single candle on a plate for us which cracked us up because who does that?
Bad:
- Took a while for food to arrive in general, but it's also really fancy inside
Overall this was a good find, a good place for a special meal like a birthday dinner and they had a great ambiance for catchups.
I have been excited to come here for a while and it generally lived up to the hype I had for it in my mind. The food was good, but slow to come out. The biscuits and gravy was incredibly salty, but we also had the sweet potato bread which sat on a bed of caramel, so that offered some balance overall. I would suggest coming here but I wouldn’t personally need to come back.
Husk was the highlight of our trip to Nashville! We all said it was literally the best food we’ve ever had, anywhere! Our waiter, Dom, was great, and gave us some amazing recommendations. We had the pig ear appetizers that were out of this world. Everything was perfect. It was worth going and we can’t wait to go back!
Girls weekend, The Husk for brunch = perfection. The grits and mushrooms, frittata and Johnny cakes are the Best! Michael our server, was super attentive and the service was over the top. Thank you for making our weekend so awesome!
Husk was unbelievably good. An excellent change of pace from downtown Nashville. The food was exquisite. The attention to detail put into every aspect of the dining experience made it worth the trip. Make sure to make a reservation and be prepared for a somewhat expensive tab (it's well worth it!). The menu changes somewhat, however, if they are offering it, I would recommend the pig ear lettuce wraps!
If you are debating trying the Pig Ears - do it! They were phenomenal and I can’t imagine any place making them tastier. Steak was tasty but the catfish was spectacular. Their Seasonal Veggies are a must!
The service was top notch! Everyone from the water guy to our waiter (Sorell) were attentive and so knowledgeable! We had a fantastic dinner
