La Dona HITS the mark every time!! If you want a delicious beer ...poured by a friendly beertender... in a welcoming tap room ...head on in to La Dona for a Dicky-brewed beer here, you will not be disappointed and your palate will thank you!! I'm still learning my way around IPA's I checked in on untappd w ASimcoe Stupid-IPA that prompted a friend to comment "that's an IPA! Was that on purpose?" I replied "it's a Dicky beer, definitely intentional". The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I regret to admit I have not ate @ La Dona....yet!! The space is large and comfortable, I appreciate when seating @ a normal height table is an option. Thanks for all the delicious beers and great conversations, La Dona, cheers!!
I have been to La Dona numerous times strictly for the DELICIOUS beers Dicky brews!! Tonight I stopped in for the Taco Tuesday special; 3 tacos and a pint for $12. As I told beertender Delahno "a mistake has been made... these are so delicious, I didn't need to know this!" ha. I opted for the Al Pastor w the sauce on the side. Surprise!! The tacos came out w pineapple on them! I would have never considered that but it was a perfect addition! Glad I got the sauce on the side as it was a little spicy for my palate. I'm not even sure it was five minutes between when I sat down and the pager went off! I wasn't sure what to expect w ordering food at that window and getting the beer at the bar? No fear, they handed me a wooden token! I paired my tacos w a Suenos De Cafe, they both complimented each well. I had always heard the food was good... believe the hype! The food is as good as the beer and the friendly beertender!! Thanks La Dona for yet another delicious visit and great conversation, cheers!!
Delicious beer, simple food options from La Tiendita like tacos, chips and salsa. Great place to enjoy trivia and community.

Our first time at this brewery. Negatives: Service didn’t leave a good impression - a short wait but the bartender was not friendly and couldn’t understand my husband when he ordered their menu item “Super Classico” with an accent. The menu itself is not visible when you walk in and was hard to see and read on the side wall without blocking people watching the soccer game. The inside was very hazy with smoke from their kitchen - you’ll smell like it when you leave.
Positives: We appreciate the mission of the place to celebrate the vibrancy of the Latino culture and you can see that reflected in their decorations & branding alone. Our drinks were both good. I had the mango chelada and would get it again. Easy parking on the street when the small lot was full. Location is set back on its own.
Wow! Very impressed with this brewery! Wide open space with a lot going on. Soccer always on TV, great food, and the best Mexican lager I have ever had. Crisp and clean place along with the crisp and clean beer selection.
The beer was refreshing, tried a few of their beers, and I’ll give them all a good rating. Except for Doña Fría, their Mexican style lager. It was darker than most, which is fine, however the taste was not there for being a Mexican lager. Their appetizers are delicious, def enjoyed their chips and guac. Very friendly environment, and their decor is amazing. That Itself is worth a visit. Also, really enjoyed their merch, I was impressed with their pricing as well. Overall, this place deserves a look at:
Lan Doña Cerveceria is a wonderful brewery/venue, containing both a bar and a nice little restaurant with tacos, quesadillas, and more! The staff are super friendly, the drinks are delicious and reasonably priced,and the atmosphere is welcoming and energetic.
I tried the tacos and the chips with quac for food, both of which were superb and filling. I also had the kombucha to drink, and was happy with the crisp raspberry flavor.
Definitely stop by for a visit!
Staff is so nice and inviting to our A.C. Milan Club Minneapolis group. The beers are great as well as the tacos. Looking forward to the next match watch parties here!
overall a very solid brewery in minneapolis! the space is big and filled with lots of fun decorations! beer was tasty and the service was solid. the food was decent, would be nice if they expanded the menu a little bit but it does the trick when having some beers. fun outdoor area with a mini soccer field! plenty fo parking. clean bathrooms as well.
This is a fantastic brewery with amazing beer, authentic cuisine, and a lively atmosphere. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, making for a memorable experience. Highly recommend!
